Depends on the cereal. If I'm using one of those plastic things where you peel off the label, then plastic is fine.

But when I'm at home with a bowl and a full-size box, I use metal.

The only times I used plastic were when I was a kid and they were those spoons that would change color in the cold milk! I miss those days...and you don't see spoons like that anymore...

Aww man I had a couple of those colour change spoons, I miss 'em.

I use tablespoons, everyone else uses the smaller spoons in my house. Metal all the way.

My friend also had these big blue plastic glasses that turned purple with cold liquids. We always used them for smoothies.

It's just easier to use plastic ware instead of actual dinner plates and the likes. It's not like we have a dinning room table nor do we have guests over who really care. So yea.

I use to have a awesome cup with a straw built in so I could just suck the milk out and eat the cereal by tipping it over into my mouth. Sadly it lost it's function when I tried to put pudding in it...
