So apparently GivesMeHope.com started their own version of Google, only this one donates to charity everytime you use it.

So far, the search engine itself really does seem exactly like google. At least, enough to where it won't annoy me if I switch. I think this is potentially a very good idea. If your everyday web browsing can either raise money for charity, or do nothing, then why not use the one that raises money for charity?

I did a few tests (performing identical searched on Google and Givoogle) and the results were pretty much the same on both sites. Givoogle even found the video that I uploaded just a few days ago.

I'll be sure to use this as well

Probably because it just fetches and retrieves the exact same data Google does. Or rather, fetches Google's data and then places it right there.

It says right on the results page that it's a skinned custom Google search. The main difference is the ad on the main page.
