A follow-up to the previous Super MFGG RPG image. The trio of LuigiFan (Mario), Princess Pie (Toadstool), and MechaChao (Geno) face off against the would-be queen Avi (Valentina) and her helmeted goon.

Inspired by the drawing I had done the previous day. Shyguy Grey came in halfway through and nearly ruined the drawing by inserting himself in the middle as a random guard trying to kill Link-Pear. Fortunately, he didn't like how it looked and erased it, giving more room for Zelda-Fujiko. I accidentally made the window a little too low, but oh well.

After the Zelda drawing was finished, we were bored. Very bored.

My first drawing of Bender. On the canvas, he was staring at a lightswitch set to the middle position, which was labeled "robot boob".

That particular day, I found Fujiko in my private room Sanctuary, where I had been previously drawing Miku. We drew and chatted about Vocaloids eventually Yak showed up. Not much else to say.

I got to draw with Fujiko again the next day, because it turns out she was sick. I drew Dr. Pear in an attempt to make her feel better. (I always draw Dr. Mario stuff when someone is sick. ) The manface Kirby is just... yeah.

MFGG in Akiba in Wonderland

A random drawing based on a poster/cover/something made for a Japanese song called Akiba in Wonderland that my friends showed me. They got a good laugh out of it.


Dark Alley
I did: background, some graffiti, Pear, Lil' Mouser, gun, garbage can, missing fridge poster
After I finished my silly drawing, Jay and Yak showed up. Jay expressed his desires to become a regular member. So, we thought of a theme and just drew. Making this picture with the two of them brought back feelings that I hadn't felt in a long time. It was very much fun. This feeling carried on through the rest of the day.


Balloon Trip
I did: background, balloon basket, balloon engine, Pear, Yoshi's Island, Lakitu's house, Goonie, Egg Carrier
Another drawing with Jay and Yak. While making this, I realized that a good part of the nostalgic feelings I was having was from making references like Yoshi's Island in the background and using the SMW chainsaw enemies as the base for the engine. After this drawing, Jay was only a few thousand segments short of attaining regular status.


Reverse Characters
I did: Reverse Pear, "Reverse!"
The third drawing I did with Jay and Yak. Somehow we got on the discussion of parallel/mirror worlds and that became the theme. Jay, the kind Team Aqua fan, became a sarcastic Magma member. Pear, the loving angel boy, became a spunky demon boy with a dog bandana. And Yak became... a female yak. I'm not very good at designing outfits, so I'm a little proud of how it came out. This drawing was enough to push Jay over the threshold and he at last gained regular membership. He was very happy, and I was glad to have helped.



I'll post some of the ones I've done this month soon if I get enough feedback. Some of them are inspired by E3.

Super Mario Galaxy
I did: all of it
A drawing I did with heavy inspiration from the recent announcement of Super Mario Galaxy 2. I played the music to the credits and Gusty Garden Galaxy the entire time. This is probably the only time I've drawn Zephy's character correctly, thanks to his reference sheet he created.


New Super Mario Bros. Wii
I did: background, Pear Toad, Goomba, Mushroom
Another drawing fueled by E3. The background was rather quick to make up for keeping everyone waiting with my SMG picture.

Train Trouble

I came in on this one after it had been finished by Yak and Jay. I erased the little "Cap This" message they had written, added the Arwing, and put it up. I was in a Star Fox mood.


Space Soccer
I did: ships in background, Pear, Soccer Bro
A seemingly random theme suggested by Jazz. Being that soccer is the only sport I enjoy, I gladly participated. It reminds me of the Space Olympics. Only afterwards did Jazz reveal that this was a Rhythm Heaven game that he had tricked us into drawing. This also marks the return of Mechant.

A big happy Pokémon-filled collage, with Fujiko as the eager trainer ready to catch 'em all. Two of the Pokémon in the background were inspired by the ones found in the background of Saffron City in Super Smash Bros.


Mega Man GTA
I did: Mega Man, Metool, Pimp Metool, Dr. Wily
A very silly and possibly offensive drawing that evolved out of a silly conversation with Mega Man fan Press Start. The tagline for the game would be "This time, you steal more than just powers!"

When you get bored enough, things happen. This is one of those things. Overall, I like how it turned out.


Casino MFGG

A bustling casino scene to which I only supplied the background. This is the first drawing of Zephy's new Espeon character, unless you count the shadow in the previous picture.

A rather chaotic and messy pool scene, with special guest Mason. The one polluting the pool with apparently radioactive waste is Sparks's androgynous character, who appears to have a tumor on his/her face. He finally told us that it was the character's hand pushing on his/her cheek.

Campfire Stories

After deciding we wanted a summer camp theme, we narrowed it down to telling stories around a campfire, or at least just a campfire. Poor Jazz is getting spooked by everything. Lizardman provided the multitude of monsters in the background. There would have been more, but I had to stop him because he was starting to draw over other things.

When I showed up, most of the picture was already done. It seemed like they were rather bored. Mason was there, as well as his sister Quickie-La. If you don't get the reference with Byron, I suggest you watch this. Somewhere along the line, the Pokémon anime got awesome again.

A drawing with Fujiko to celebrate her recent completion of Portal. Outrage, Gato, and others showed up later to add stuff in. Being that MFGG is a Mario-based community, I changed the hazard icons on the sign accordingly.


Robot Pear

Someone suggested we draw our characters as robots, and so I did. I went to bed early so that I could wake up early, so I didn't stay to see the finished product. I kinda wish I had stayed to finish the whole thing.

My first time drawing my new Flareon character, or for that matter a Flareon period. I think it came out nice. I was quite shocked when both Zephy and Ravan criticized it for its eyes. I was expecting them to mention the funky paws.


Scooby Doo
I did: background, Pear, Fujiko's colors
A drawing based on the popular mystery cartoon we all love. It was going well until Sasuke showed up and a silly dispute arose between him and the lovably naive Jay. Jay was going to draw Scooby, but it kept looking weird, and Sasuke drew a hotdog. I wanted to keep it, but Jay erased it. Sasuke crudely drew himself as Daphne in the same space out of spite.


Scooby Doo (Alternate)
I did: same as above
Shortly after, Daphne was erased and more silly fighting ensued. Sasuke turned all of Jay's attempts to draw a dog into turtles and dragons and all kinds of silly things. he finally drew this green blob without thinking and was astounded at what he had created. I feel sorry for Jay, but Mechant and me were laughing the entire time. What can I say? Sasuke is a terrific entertainer.

Mysterious Figures
I did: Pear, shading on Fujiko's jacket.
Max inspired us to do a theme based on the hidden bosses of Kingdom Hearts, the mysterious cloaked figures. By the way, Fujiko got a new character, heavily inspired by the works of Prio. Her normal outfit can be seen in the soup drawing above.

Edit: Minor update not worth a bump.

It's GYM LEADER PEAR versus the challenger PKMN TRAINER FUJIKO. Inspiration for this drawing was provided by this music. I just beat Misty today, so a water gym was on my mind.
