I've noticed the ads in between some of the posts, they're not really that annoying .

But hey, if ads are needed to keep the board up and running then I'd rather have them then having no board .

Actually, the whole reason we have ads is to avoid having to pay anything for hosting (it's self-sufficient, surprisingly).

We've already concluded (in the same way we were talking about adding another... ad) that in the event we really needed to take donations for keeping the site up (or anything else), we'd have more than enough support to keep it going.

Also I would like to add that the ads are not in any way disrupting my experience with the site at all. I use FlashBlock because flash is a pain on my computer. Everything else is gravy.

You should add in a donation button just for the heck of it. SMWC has ads and accepts donations (although I'm not trying to say that we should be like them ). If you did I'd be sure to donate some of my money as well .

I remember donating to a site and they automatically made me admin. (As of today, they are non-existant thanks to their --*Ahem* obvious decisions). But just in case, I will repeat my words here: Even though they are not really needed.

Donating to the site does not make you an automatic freebird. It does not also get you friends, benefits, or anything. Instead, consider it as a privilege to further enjoy doing what you have been doing.

Basically, I donated 20 dollars (Which was a year's worth of hosting compared to the competition. However you could not do a lot with it), and everyone there wanted me to be the boss of the place. This is not the case with me. I only donate to help, and to further feel better about myself.

Hell, you guys should know what I really do. I only do this because I want to be a better man. Anyone enjoy traveling?
