| Although I don't recall any plans for having two fortresses, I see no problems with implementing your ideas in regards to the plot. ...However, I'm not too sure about your "Flash Stopper" related idea, though. When I was considering whether or not it could work in that fashion, I realized just how unsure I was on the specifics of how this game is going to play out. Of course, these specifics may not exactly exist yet, but we should still find out if it would really work in its current form. A potential problem, for example, is that it apparently requires every player-character to have a certain power, and I'm not sure if that idea is possible in the context of these characters. I suppose we'll just have to see what everyone else has to say about it. |

| I don't think ZX had that much backtracking in it. It has Red save / mission stations, blue Teleport destinations at the start of each area, and Yellow stations that do what the Red stations do and teleport you either to the blue destinations or other yellow stations. Make it work right, and backtracking can be kept to a minimum. (ZX had bosses come back from time to time for optional fights, and Advent let you take missions so you could refight them. Would that seem viable here?)
