What are some memories that you remember from your time in school? Good, bad, whatever you want to share.

(I have a few, but due to lack of time, I'll post mine later.)

Most memorable for me is the PIAA 4A basketball championships.

My school actually won by 19, if I'm remembering correctly. Great game.

Most of my school memories are kind of meh, if you know what I mean..

But there are a few good ones, even if I didn't understand it until much later. For example, I always thought that, back then, everyone was against me, and that it was everyone else's fault that my time in school was so terrible. However, that was a horrible misconception. I only got it around two years after I left school (it's been almost three and a half years now since I left), but the only one who really caused problems was me, not the others. There were actually quite a lot of people who tried to befriend me or at least tried to be friendly. It's just that I got so afraid of others (from the "meh" memories from school year 7 and earlier) that I didn't "let them" or something. (It's complicated.)

But yeah, remembering that makes me kind of happy, but also sad, because I disappointed all those who tried to be friendly.

That's probably not the kind of memories you were asking for, but that's the only thing I can remember right now. Sorry.

Contrary to that, my school was small enough to where everyone else, for the most part...did cause problems.

With a total of 92 in high school, four years of kids, and most of them being related to one another...and me moving there my sixth grade year and getting a bad rap since?

Fuuuuck...I got to see just how bad humanity can be in terms of alienating people firsthand. Rarely did I ever have a pleasant memory of such outside of a few people that I still talk to (one, at least) and achievements that I made on my own, perhaps to spite the curriculum that sucked anyways.

I'm actually surprised nobody's brought up positive memories yet.

I mean, middle school for me was total shit, too... but it was high school that was the good part for me...

Elementary was cool too, I suppose. Fairly stress-free, which I miss.

Well what kind of French class was it then?

You just said you did a whole class. I figured you meant the hunka-chunka.

By the way, this was also something I had to deal with.

I didn't understand what many meant by the term 'Dale Lash'.

Ugh. School memories. I have "fond" memories of second grade wherein my teacher would tell me being a lefty was "doing it wrong". I broke my left arm later that year to which she was overjoyed that I would be forced to write "correctly" now. Of course I wasn't able to and she became enraged with my "sloppy work", saying she couldn't read my handwriting and would keep me in during recess a good portion of the year to redo it. There was some student-teacher intern girl thing who was pretty cool to me though, she was at least sort of nice. Now that I think about it elementary/middle-school was just all kinds of awkward period. Fuck highschool though. I'm currently in my junior year of college and can't wait to fucking graduate already. I just...want to get out and do stuff not be held back by studying crap that doesn't even matter, only to not do so well in the stuff I don't understand and shunned by working class society. It's like whatever ;x

Oh I hate hate hate those kind of people

Reminds me of preschool, where I was the only one who could read/write. The teachers didn't say "hey, that's a good thing" or something, they scolded me for it

I have a few. Mostly bad.

Some of the more interesting ones:

1. When I was in kindergarten, I was chasing a friend on the playground. I tripped, and my knee got cut up really badly, since I landed in broken glass. The first person to notice was a blonde girl in my class, and since I was having a little trouble walking (as you can guess, my knee fucking hurt), she helped me get to the clinic on the other end of the school.

2. My first second-grade teacher (I had a few) got mad when I wasn't paying attention in her math class. Now, dismissing the fact that I just didn't like the bitch for a moment, this was in part because I didn't need to pay attention, I knew the shit already. I proved it by bringing in a book I'd been studying at home and did a few algebra problems.

3. I slammed my thumb in a car door outside of my middle school. Never felt it, but there's a lump of scar tissue in the general vicinity of where it happened, and there was a strange dent in my finger the first day.

These were, by the way, some of the better ones. Yes, even 3.

Me PM
I remember a bit... I only really remember anything from grade three forwards, in which I was bullied and basically did my own thing. I had friends at a couple points, but overall I wasn't particularly social (I'm still not...). High school was all right, I made a few friends who I was in contact with for the time I was there. The best memories of high school would have to be grades 10 through 12, where I ran the audio/video crew and the television crew, I had a lot of fun with those clubs.
