I remember getting stung in the ear by a wasp when I was young. I know the details to the teeth because I was always afraid to watch the movie "All Dogs go to heaven". It sounds silly, but keep reading.
The part where the Dog returns to life and get's back on the docks is what scared me the most from the movie. As soon as the cat screams for dear life, I remember a super sharp pain in my right ear as soon as the noise struck. I had to be rushed to the hospital. Ever since then, I was afraid of that movie until I was like 10 or something.
When I was 14 I remember climbing a tree and falling on a branch, a huge bee hive was on it and it fell off. I slipped again and my leg landed on the bees nest. I was stung 13 times, and learned I was illergic to bee stings. Again, had to be rushed to the hospital.
I was very unfortunate with bee stings. Today, I am not afraid of them at all.
E- Figured I would show the video with the clip of the movie that scared me the most. And the inevitable bee sting!

I have only been stung by a wasp once or twice. It definitly isn't fun  .

I've been stung by bees a few times. I remember this one time when I was in kindergarten, maybe 1st grade, and I went to play on the tire swing and there were bees inside the tire.

As a 7 year old, I decided I had to be stung in style. None of this 'wasp lands on you, stings you' nonsense. No. I crushed a wasp into the pavement and it stung me as it was being killed by my brutal, accidental step.
The pain was nasty, but I had gained resistence. Next time a bee landed on my finger in the milk department of a grocery store, I flung it away. It stung me, but it also flew into the wall and got brutally kicked about the floor for its misdeed. The sting, oddly, didn't hurt much at all.
Indeed, I considered that more of a nuisance.
But it gets better.
Next, wasps began flying into the room where I do my computer work. Originally I would run away, not wanting to get stung, but eventually I got sick of it. I attacked the last 3 wasps that came in, knocking them off the ceiling and beating them to death with a tennis racket, and the others were brutally ripped to shreds by my cat.
...So I'm a bad person to come to if you're a wasp, because I've had it up to here with them attacking me and won't hesitate to rip them to pieces if they violate my personal space.

I am not afraid of wasps / Bees. Regardless of my memories surprisingly. I even crushed a bee in my hands on day. It felt great without being stung.
Try this sometime. It feels great if you are not being stung *Laughs*

I rarely come in contact with bees or wasps, but when I do, I can easily shoo it away with no problems. Therefore, I've never been stung, and I've only witnessed a stinging once in my life. In fact, the worst injury I've ever sustained from an animal that wasn't my pet was a mere fire ant sting.
So, yeah... No interesting stories on my end. |

I have to agree with you on that one. Kicking ass all across the insect kingdom it seems.
My stinging experience? Back when I was an idiot. Kicked on a door that had a wasp inside until it stung me at the elbow. It hurt and stayed sore for a while, but it didn't go beyond that day.
Now here's a problem: I have a history in my family of someone being allergic to bee stings. I have not once been stung by a bee, but when I do let's hope that I don't have those allergies.
