Concerning posts, I only see words. I don't try to imagine the person posting or their voice or whatnot, since I have no reason to.

On the off days when I read books, I often picture what's happening in the story in my head. For example, I imagined up the whole forest scene in Twilight, me in place of Edward and all.

Concerning video games, I only imagine what I already know about the game. Level layouts, snes pro action replay codes the abilities of the character, and the music. Sometimes I hear sound effects from random games when I'm alone, but I just throw that away to my mind wandering too far.

I always picture house scenes in a house I've been in before, for some reason.

I've done that before as well. Like when my friend tried describing to me what his cottage was like and how it was close to the beach. My image of that wasn't even close to how it actually is .

Y'know, seeing some of the replies has made me start to wonder where all these images actually originate from.

I mean, everything looks familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time, which is the real confusing thing.
