Hello, everybody! I'm new here, as you may have guessed from my post count. I have been playing video games for about 10 or 11 years and ROM hacking for only about seven months, although I prefer the latter. I like reading, writing (when I can actually get my distracted brain in gear), music (my favorite is classical, both to listen to and to play), and learning things, especially science-related facts. Several of the users here will probably recognize and know me from SMW Central, albeit not very well. I hope to have fun here!

You have text outside your post table in your signature (the binary stuff). This makes it show up in the next person's post or just hanging below your post into a void. Either delete it or move it inside the <table> tag.
You might also think about finding a way to make your text a little more readable on the post background, possibly by adding a translucent or dark-colored box behind your post text that won't allow the background to clash with the text as much.

Hmm...okay. Well, I can do the first of those, but unfortunately, I didn't make the layout myself and I'm not all that familiar with HTML, so I don't know how to create the text box. In the meantime, I guess I'll just disable it entirely and save the code.

Anya: I hope I do, too. I'll have to see how it goes. A fraction of an hour isn't much to go by, but only time will tell.... Actually, I think I read somewhere that there is an anomaly in the star chart, so the sign you think you are is actually one ahead of your true sign. If that's true, then we're both Sagittarius. (Just a random factoid.)

Xkeeper: I can't remember exactly how I found Jul, but I think it was through one of SWR's MushROMs links. That Google search I just did was to find it agin, since just typing in "Jul" alone got me results that were too vague, and that was before I added the main page to my Favorites list. That's rather creepy how you can tell what I've just been doing online...you weren't kidding when you told MegaMario "We admins can see everything". (By the way, I cracked up while reading that, I'm not ashamed to admit.) I have a sort-of-uninteresting story about an "all-seeing admin" during my third week at SMW Central...but I'll save it for another day.
I noticed, by the way, that there is no stickied thread for new and returning users. Do you get very many threads like this one?

Not really because we don't have an influx of new users... on the original board, we used to have a section just for newbies to post welcome threads in, but those are actually pretty rare now so there's no need to have a separate spot for it.

Heh you sig. I still remember when my computer science teacher wrote that on the board, I think I was the only one in the entire class that understood it (it was a pretty slow class  ).
