There is such a thing as good nausea medication? Because I've seen some people at work take Gravol and get fscked off their ass as a result...

I'm very sorry to hear about that. My late grandpa has diabetes probably when I was a teenager. That was an unfortunate shock and one of my friends also got a case of it. I wish I knew if they were the same type as the one you're diagnosed with or not, but I really hope that things will go smoothly now and glad to hear that you've been recovering from it.
Though, I don't think I ever heard of that medication before, but if it's working, definitely nothing to complain about.
