****!Update!**** ADDED ANNOYANCE TO ANNOYING THING NUMBER 2!
Annoying thing #2 now added!

*CREDIT NUMBER 1: Yoshi52
Yoshi52 gave me the idea of annoying thing #2 - Annoyance 6. the ads you cannot close, to Yoshi52, thank you for this idea, feel free to share more ideas below, I look forward to adding your ideas to the list. Thank you Yoshi52. credits go to you.

hey everyone, it's fiercedeity1994. and I must say, if there is one thing I love, it's Comedy. and so, I have made a document series of comedy. it is titled Annoyances Unmentioned (hence the title of this post, clever) this series talks of things that annoy people. well that is things that annoy people who know what annoying is. I must say one thing: if you do not have a since of humor, do NOT read this, you would be wasting your time. if you don't like it, just give me instructive pointers, I ignore posts such as "you suck!" so you would be wasting your own time not mine.

anyway, I will kick this thing off with the annoyances of the internet, this should nail it pretty good so far. please note that this is in the making, this isn't set in stone and will increasingly get better. please check up whenever you can for updates.

one more note: have any suggestions on any topic that you feel should have been mentioned? tell me about it, and I will credit you for making it part of my update. I will give you my thanks as well. okay lets kick this off shall we?

Annoying thing #1 – You tubers
Is there anything quite like You tubers? Now before you think I’m talking about every you tuber, I’m not. I’m only talking about 90% of them. Now let me tell you just which kinds of You tubers that annoy me.

1. the ones that go on Youtube so that they can argue about everything in the World. These guys are crazy, You can talk about anything, and I mean anything And somebody can go on the comments section of the bottom of each content, and argue about things like Politics. One time, I saw this guy post a video about Nintendo through the ages, And less than 15 comments through, there was an Argument about former President Bush! Are you kidding me? There was nothing in the entire video about politics. Is there anything more annoying than people who go on youtube to make a random Argument?

2. Oh right, there are people who go on there to talk about their lives. If I wanted somebody’s opinion about anything in my life, I’m not going to go to Youtube for my advice/comments/Pity/blabber/opinion. It’s like these people are born stupid, A lot of people say “people are born Gay” I say “nah, they’re just born as stupid Youtubers” and you have to admit, it’s a Valid concern.

3. People who put their opinions on display. As if asking for opinions on Youtube wasn’t dumb enough. Oh no, don’t even think that’s as bad as it gets, no, people actually go there to PUT their opinions on Youtube. If I may ask, does the world care? Have you ever gone on Youtube.com, looked at somebody’s corny opinion about things like global warming/politics/etc and said “hey, this guy is right! Wow I have changed as a person, I never knew about that! I am now smarter”? No, I’m guessing you never have, So why do people do these things? What do you have to do in your life to get like this? What childhood nightmare do you need to be like any of these above? If you really read this with an open mind, you’ll come to find out that every one of the above annoying Youtubers Are insane! Let me tell you, I have recently gotten myself a Youtube account for showing people my Super Mario World level edits, and speaking frankly, I’m not sure I WANT comments on mine. Because what do I want? People who

A: watch the Video and reply with instructive criticism and comments on my Level?

B: watch the video, reply cussing like a mad man over something somebody said, and having a 37 reply argument over something that shouldn’t have even been said in the first place?

A: 100%
B: 0%

The main problem though, is that you get a mixture of both. So if you want A, you’re more than likely going to have to live with B. which is VERY annoying. And just stupid, come on. Give me a break.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Annoying thing #2 – those little ads

I hate those side ads that want you to buy something, I hate it when I click them on accident and it takes you to a menu of different places you can shop! The reason I really hate side-adds are because a lot of them slow down websites. I mean come on now guys, there has got to be another way to advertise and make money without slowing the site down. Oh but we send a man to the moon right? Oh but we can’t make advertisement better, I don’t understand that. Here are some of the specific ads

1 - Oh don’t you just love those ads that claim “you’re the 999.99th visitor”? Ask somebody beside you if they have seen it and you’ll see that everybody in the world is the 999.99th visitor. Well, except for Jonathan Leben, but that’s what you get for committing securities fraud.

2 – Those ads for dating sites. I don’t know about you, but those creep me out I mean come on, you know what you’ll get if you try one of those, your true love will weigh 500 pounds and have bolts in their neck. And people wonder why America is leading in divorce. What a head scratchier. They should have a sport about those; the first one to get a true love wins! This could take weeks.

3 - Those ads that talk! Oh man, one time, it was dead quiet and I’m just on the internet, when suddenly, I hear: “OH MY GOD! I KNOW!” and it’s this stupid side ads like about cell phones or something! You think me typing that in caps was over doing it? That’s an under statement. It is loud ladies and gentlemen! The only thing you think about when you hear one of those is “what was that!? And how do I make sure it never happens again!?” Who ever came up with that better enjoy his laugh, that’s the only thing he gets out of it all.

4 – The phantom advertisements. Sometimes, you’ll be hearing somebody trying to tell you to go to a website for cars or something, and you don’t even know where it’s coming from. A lot of times, you feel compelled to just click off and come back on in hopes the ad doesn’t come back. Nothing much to say here, but I just hate that, very creepy.

5 – The button. Have you ever seen this one ad that says “click the button you know you want to!”? That’s just dumb. I mean can we say Computer prank or what? Just for a quick note, if you ever have clicked “the button” do tell me what happens, I’m just wondering what happens. I just hate ads like this one.

6 - the ads you cannot close. (courtesy of Yoshi52) - these ads are pretty much roll-over ads, but when you roll over them, these will not give you the X out option. which is very annoying, why should we have to see ads, and why should we have to see ads that won't go away? (or at least not easily) Yoshi52 even told me that there indeed ARE some of these with the X out option, but you have to click them just right, now that's just teasing. it's the year 2009 and we can't make ads any better than that, or no ads at all would be swell, but sadly, advertising is a huge thing with the internet, a very annoying one at that. but don't worry, certain tools and blockers can make sure that stupid things like these listed above aren't part of your everyday life. thankfully, I would have have given the creator of ads something to ad about if these tools weren't invented.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

that is it for now, would you say was I on it pretty well? I think so, but hey, don't take offense to this. the way I think it's funny is that it's true. sometimes, the truth is the funniest thing ever. anyway, tell me what you think, once again, tell me if there's something I could have mentioned and credits WILL go to you. and if you don't have a since of humor, i feel sorry for ya. have a great day day everyone.

Pretty nice comedy rant there. I've never seen a Phantom ad, but it sure sounds like a nuisance. I hope to see more, this is interestingly funny.
Oh, and lol at how there's an ad for dating right at the bottom of the page. XD

Also, what about roll-over ads that you can't close? I had to refresh the page just so I could click the link the ad was covering.

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

For further advice on how to make your pages accessible
see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.
You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
