I got the inspiration for these sketches after a series of weird dreams I'm trying to piece together since 2006. These characters kept popping up all the time in my head, and so, an artist was born!

Note that the first three have some notes on their backstory.

My pathetic attempt at a first drawing. She's supposed to be some sort of Firebender (a la Azula from Avatar, minus the blue flames). She first appeared as a fire-juggling dancer whom the heroes (as of yet unnamed and undrawn) were sent to rescue before the enemy finds and kidnaps her for "experimenting."

Same, but this time, a pathetic full-body sketch. Hooray for evil proportions! She's rather on the bookish side, somewhat cold attitude (but warms up as time progresses). She's also a doctor; more specifically, a cardiologist, and has potent healing abilities.

Your art has potential, but from squiggly lines, to mishapen figures, I can't call it good.

You have potential, but you need to grasp it.

Lord, not saying that my stuff is very good though...

Keep at it, and keep trying. You're drawing anime, so look toward copying facial structure and poses from scenes from Anime/Manga with your character's features, until they look better.

No offense intended. If I offended you, it's because you're touchy.

Hell, I was even the one who said the "flat tire" comment

But yeah, squiggly lines and somewhat misshapen things... things that should be smooth are jagged, osme perspectives are goofed, etc.


On that note, ShaddowK's comment is exactly the kind of thing I want to see in this forum.
