That's exactly how it works now and how it was planned from the start. Each custom level has its own level file.

The only difference with what you suggested is that choosing the level slot and which level is replaced is done before clicking on the "Create and save level to ROM" button, instead of TT64 asking after you clicked the button.

I only considered having a single multi-level file as a solution to the problem of keeping the 0x24 objects in the file automatically in sync with those in the ROM, but I decided to continue with my original plan of having one file per level.

Umm when you said "one file per level" Does that mean I wont be able to load level abject data with the bank options? Like I want the same ground but then insert the dessert objects or somthing.
EDIT: Oh never mind. I think I sort of see what you mean I think. Sorry, I diddnt completly under stand about that. Will it change somthing if you put a level in one file?

An important update to the loader function: now it clears the extended memory region before copying the data, avoiding many possible problems. By the way, there was a fatal stack error in the loader function I posted last week because I forgot to paste a line .

Just for a future refrence, try to avoid deadlines. I remember the wait for Brawl. Luckily, it came out on my Birthday! Anyway, cant wait to import Spiral Mountain from Banjo Kazoie.

Yeah, I should've avoided setting deadlines for TT64 v0.6b...

Now, for you impatient lurkers, I'll try to release something before tomorrow (though it may be released around 4am EST), but it will be more than probably incomplete and buggy. This version will be clearly labelled as an "Alpha" version, probably as 0.6a1, and with "Alpha" written over the splash screen and logo, subsequent alpha versions will be 0.6a2, 0.6a3 etc. until it reaches the beta state (0.6b).

At least, you'll be able to try the interface and give me some suggestions and bug reports.

Well, one thing is with games, when they set a deadline, they have something playable when deadlines are announced. Sure they may not be able to put some things in by the deadline, but they have a releasable game.

One suggestion: better don't announce that you are going to release a new version - people will start asking for it and trying to force you to finish it as soon as possible. Better just inform us that you are "working" on it, but don't feel like finishing it soon.

It may have been a little 'stretched', but understand that some people have been patiently waiting over a 2-week extension, and some have been disappointed and upset. I myself have been waiting but my life's so busy I don't mind these extensions, and it's perfectly fine by me you're taking them. You obviously care about what you release to the public. And it's truly appreciated you keep this up for no charge (believe me, if I had a paypal account, I'd donate some money for your efforts!)

Once again, take your time, don't feel rushed by people's discouraging, angry words. After all, you have life to take care of. Take a few more weeks extension if you feel it's needed, many others on here understand and will accept with hidden anticipation for the program.

Once again, please do not be upsetted. Take your time, enjoy life. You don't need to feel rushed in your personal life as you do in your working life.
