I listened to Kawaii Radio just a bit earlier but while more people listen to that than here, we are just limited on resources to have higher quality or multiple servers.

Even if it is 24kbps I'm sure some of us would listen to it. I know I would.

Oh geez, with user content, it'd have a whole lot of variety. If it doesn't have user content as much, it'd be mostly whatever the host listens to a lot.

I know I have a lot of different types of genres to contribute.

Makes me wonder how we'd handle non-mp3 too, since there are some tracked songs have (thanks various people) that were pretty good, but may loop partway though.

Hmm... yeah, other formats would be tricky, but I'm sure we could figure out something.

Maybe make the user submit it as a MP3 or OGG and if its supposed to loop, make it loop twice or reach the 2:00 minute mark minimum, whatever works better.

Cause we could all enjoy OUT OF THIS DIMENSION.

I know foobar's plugins (foo_gep and foo_dumb) allow specifying a maximum playing time (if undefined) and number of times to loop.

Two is usually the best way to loop. Plays fully for the first two and fades as it is going to the third. That's how the Kingdom Hearts OST did it, and that's how other OSTs do it to sometimes.
