I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but as far as gravity goes, how would it work? I noticed in the first post, you used a sphere model. Can it be made so Mario walks along the sphere like in Super Mario Galaxy? I would imagine that'd be too complex though.

Originally posted by "VL-Tone" One way it could be possible would be not to change the gravity, but just rotate the whole world around Mario (i.e. pseudo gravity). But I guess that would only work for small worlds (well, a sphere isn't that big) and would still be quite hard to do (would probably include some behavior hacking as we can't modify the engine itself). |

If I remember correctly, that wall area that Mario runs up doesn't work for Mario when he's going back down. Edit: Looks like I remembered incorrectly. ____________________ ![]()

In that platform (Bowser in the sky) is ultra non slippery but everything else in that level is slippery (exept for the other lego-walls). Yay editor! But if you disable the 0x0F bank is the game still going to work without those models? ____________________ Wow! SM64 is totally turned upside-down!

Mirai does support obj format (like most 3d modeling programs), so it could be used to model objects for the importer if nothing else

Looking great! Not sure how much you have looked into RSP/RDP commands, but if you are still using the "transparent" template, I fixed a small problem some weeks ago by erasing the flags from the SETGEOMETRYMODE and CLEARGEOMETRYMODE (0xB7 and 0xB6) commands: By the way, not sure if this RDP reference is of help (its probably for a later microcode) but at least it may offer you some insight about how some commands works. ____________________ Mario 64 notes @ http://sites.google.com/site/messiaen64/
