I prefer "infinite" (from a coding standpoint), since with anything else it's "always" or "never"

I can see 200x200 working just fine, after all they won't stretch or anything.
Also makes for more expressiveness in the avatars (Not that I'll ever find a use for that ).

Mine's 175x(<=175), if it makes you feel any better.

200x200 is a bit much, yes, but it really does allow for more and if it's anything like mine, it won't matter much if you don't have a ginormous custom title.

(I'm thinking 200x200 for both custom title and avatar, maybe)

100x100 is pretty good space for me, since most things I place in avatars have poor .jpeg or .gif quality. I resize it and do this and that to drive attention away to it...

So having a 200x200 limit would be great, but I really don't need or want it as of now. I might layer on, however.

Whatever. I don't have dial-up, so no explosion for me. (Still kinda getting used to the fact that we don't have dial-up anymore.)

I'm using 1024x768 right now and it seems that your 175px image has extra space left. I guesstimated that the width total is 200px, hence the limit. Past that we get into table-fsckr4g3.

No way, some things can just be too tall and would probably be better suited to a layout

I think even 175 is pushing the height, 200 will be a bit much but as longa s your custom title isn't too big it should be okay.
