Nothing terribly remarkable. It's based on the "Enhanced Steam" skin but basically I got rid of all the weird diagonal lines; Steam now has just a matte black appearance. The diagonal lines had some kind of strange effect on my monitor, you could see "waves" running down them as the screen was refreshed. It was just ugly.

To install, just take the 744skin folder, you can rename it if you want, and throw it in your Steam/skins/ directory.

(Ignore the MACOSX folder in the zip file, I'm not quite sure why that happened.)

I didn't make the small icons and things with this, only the background pieces (for all views and chat/friend panes) and friend/achievement frames. I'm working on figuring out the layout files (they look like they use some dumbed-down form of CSS) and adjusting more of the images to create a truly custom skin, hopefully one that is more intuitive.
