So I have a clock with a thermometer on it, and it's always seemed to read too high. When it feels like 15°C, it'd show 27. Last night I thought it must be close to 25, and it showed 28. So I turned the heat down (even though I'm pretty certain it wasn't on to begin with) to roughly 18, and today it shows 29. I turn the heat down and the display goes up, hmm.Recently I got an outdoor one as well. Inside, it seemed to be consistent with the clock. I stuck it in the window, and today it was showing 35°C, when it was clearly (as the weather report confirmed) closer to 5. I'd put a piece of cardboard behind it so it wouldn't be affected by sunlight and wind, and it still reads high even at night. Why can I not find accurate thermometers? ![]() ____________________
