Wow! I'm so happy to see that it came back this year, even just in time for my finals to be over. Funny thing, I've actually been going out driving lately, to see all of the christmas decorations people have been putting up. It's an awesome sight, and I'm only sad that it only happens once a year. Still though, when I get my own place, I'd love to Fa-la-la it up a bit for the holidays.

My parents would drive around on the 24th to look at the lights Usually with Xmas music on the radio.

Back in the day, my parents would drive my little brother and myself around town to see the lights. Not so much anymore.

I may take some photos of the tree and house and post them on my flickr once I get the chance.

We have a place nearby that literally has the ENTIRE STREET not only lit up with lights, but flashing in sync to their own local radio station that plays both classic Christmas music and Trans-Siberian orchestra. It is truly a site to behold. I'm pretty sure it made the news, I'm about to see if I can find an article on it.

I should also add that the family who originally wanted to do this, got all of the other houses on the street to participate by offering to pay 1/4 of the electric bill for any house who joined. Someone has a lot of cash to blow.

We also have one closer that has 2 or 3 houses doing that. It's been a tradition for them for about 3 years or so now.

You don't know ridiculously decorated until you've seen the Garabedian Christmas house.
I literally live right across the street from the place, and, I assure you, it is extravagant. I'd hate to have to foot THAT power bill.

I've got a video stashed on my hard drive of a pretty epic holiday light display synchronized to music. It's probably on Youtube somewhere, but I'd have no idea how to find it. D: Guess I could just upload it anyway, not like there aren't a million duplicate videos already.
