| Okay, I have to say, I'm not asking to help program the game. I do know some ASM (read: 65c816 assembly), but considering some of the computer nerds around here, if I tried to do anything like that, I would probably get laughed out of the forum in leetspeak. But I would like to ask a few things about the code. I don't know which of them we have any idea on yet, though, so please bear with me. 1) I'm assuming this is a homebrew ROM, right? If so, how big will it be? 4 MB? 8 MB? 2) In what language will it be coded? ASM (assembly)? C++? 3) What will we use for the music engine? SPC-700 is the only one I know by name, but there are obviously others out there. Which would suit this best? 4) What console (that includes emulators) is this game for? SNES? PC? 5) If it's a SNES game, are we using any enhancement chips, such as DSP-1, CX4, SA-1, SuperFX/GSU, etc.? ____________________ |
