I don't know if we already have a thread like this somewhere, but I just had a really awesome dream that I felt like sharing. Feel free to share any others you guys may have had as well.

Here's the latest one I had:

It all started when I woke up like any other day. I may have been late for the bus, I may have been not felt like doing something, or I may have even changed my normal path during the day... but all I know is that something changed that day.

I remember getting up and at some point or another a friend asking me to go somewhere with them. There were also a lot of events that preceded this that I unfortunately can't remember very vividly, but it involved being chased down by members of my old school in some sort of mob-esque fashion, probably for something I did. I also think at one point I had left my shoes behind to like... sway off the people chasing me. There were these two kids in particular at one point who'd chased me into a bathroom, and I'd hidden in one of the stalls; I'd stayed completely still, but then I heard one of them say "Check the middle stall!", which happened to be the stall I was in. They opened up the stall and there I was, right there, but I'd stayed completely still as I was before.

For some reason, this actually worked as a successful deterrent, and they'd not acknowledged my presence there in favor of some other kind of external detractor. At one point I remember being exasperated with it all and saying something to the effect of "You guys are really disgusting," based on some things they were talking about, and they suddenly noticed my presence and started to come after me. I remember fighting them off and managing to escape the school somehow.

At some point after this, a friend encouraged me to come with them somewhere. I pointed out that I didn't have any shoes, and they distinctly told me "You won't need shoes where you're going." Intrigued, I decided to follow this mysterious person--a person who I later recognize as a female friend from my old school--onto what appeared to be a yellow school bus. But this was no ordinary school bus--it was full of very strange individuals; some green and of alien descent, some appearing to be normal kids, and of course me and my friend.

As I would soon learn, my friend and the bus driver had apparently known each other for a while now. The bus driver was very odd; kind of psychotic, definitely "off his rocker," and a bit vulgar in speech. I'd swear he might have been an alien as well! We drove to our then-unknown destination after getting on.

The drive itself was both an ordeal and an adventure. The driver was very reckless, zooming through highways at full blast and engaging in very blunt commentary along the way with the various people sat on the bus. He tore through cars, ran through traffic lights, and took very light of the situation, often making fun of the cars strewn about the highway while he busted through them. Eventually he turned back to my friend and said something I don't specifically remember, but after that the bus started to lift up from the ground and fly through the air!

We zoomed around above a city for a bit before encountering a very tall building, which we promptly flew directly up to the top of after encountering. Once to the top, we finally land and the doors fly open; we've reached our destination. Before walking off the bus, I snarkly added, "Too bad I know we weren't really flying--I couldn't feel any gravitational pressure!"

Once we entered the building, I was met with a very peculiar sight. I walked through this building which was composed of tall ceilings, navy blue and black walls and dark blue carpets. Lines and lines of people could be seen in this building on different varying levels of staircases and platforms, waiting to be processed for some then-unknown purpose. I looked around in wonder before being dragged along the way by my friend throughout the building.

As we dashed through the halls, we often careened around lines of people and were skipping ahead to our destination, as if we had some sort of priority over every other person there. We eventually came up to a place where we split off and I was the lead; a man in a guarded platform above me tossed me down what appeared to be a large, black pillow, and motioned me towards a small hallway in front of me. In this hallway was two paths--another hallway laid to my right, and a smaller doorway lay before me. Instinctively, I decided to take the path directly in front of me--the doorway.

As I entered the mysterious doorway, it appeared to lead to some sort of bedroom of sorts. To the left of me was a dresser and mirror, and to my right was a magnificent bed with a large, wooden head, a set of curtains to keep out light, and a very large--maybe queen-sized--mattress with a large, soft, black comforter. At the foot of the bed--maybe a bit more towards the middle--was some sort of talking object; maybe it was a pillow, and maybe it was something else. It reminded me in both purpose and nature of the sorting hat present in the Harry Potter series. It beckoned me to take my pillow and sit down.

Immensely confused, I placed the pillow behind me and half-sat on it at the foot of the bed. The mirror directly in front of me allowed me a clear view of my face. Suddenly, I could hear the object muttering behind me, apparently reading my deepest thoughts and desires. Suddenly, I felt my body wretch, turn, and cringe as changes were made to me. He announced them gruffly out loud as they occurred--my hair was highlighted blonde at the end and shortened, I was given immense strength, and I was granted the ability to fly. In addition, I was also granted a large weapon that appeared to be a sword of sorts.

I was no longer at the foot of the bed as this happened, but suspended in mid-air in one of those generic "power-up" sort of poses, except I had no control over it; my arms were clenched back at my sides, my back and head were arched back, and I couldn't control my movements. I felt my muscles bulge, I felt my hair reshape itself, and I felt the force of gravity gradually lift as I inherited the ability to defy it of my own free will.

Once I regained control of my movements, I remained suspended in mid-air, finally able to marvel at my newfound powers. "Badass!", I enthusiastically exclaimed, admiring the large weapon in my hand and the fact that I could freely traverse through the air.

Another person would come into the room explaining a few things about my weapon, and how it could switch between a sword and a gun. The gun, unfortunately lacked ammo; upon asking where I would be able to get more, I was met with a scoff and a reply that it was only available on its home planet, which was not only far, but formidable land to traverse. I transformed the weapon back into a sword and put it into its sheath, which was present with the new armor-esque uniform that I now found myself dressed in.

As I left the room and was led down the hallway that I had chosen not to enter before, I decided to take advantage of my newfound abilities, flying quickly down the hallway before reaching the end. Upon reaching the end, I was met with another marvel--a huge, vast room resembling the structure and population of a mall, the ceiling several stories up and all kinds of kiosks and people walking about casually. The most I could equate it to was some kind of modern city utopia, but present indoors and within the confines of a city building.

I would later gather that I was in some sort of school for "super heroes," or any kind of equivalency of people with latent, hidden powers. After exploring for a bit, I found the friend I had gone there with along with a group of other friends that I had known from school. Upon seeing me, they were overjoyed and we caught up with our lives--where we've been, what we've been doing, etc. After breaking the ice, the friend I had come with left to do something else for a moment, presumably to go get something. I turned around back the group of my remaining friends, smirked, and said:

"So guys, check out what I can do."

Right on cue, I flew high into the air in several formations--loops, twists, turns, and dives were met with shock and awe before I finally landed back in front of them, still a smirk on my face.

"Cool!"

"Awesome!"

"Radical!"

After showing off our newfound abilities amongst each other, I bode my farewell and took off. I looked around the vast, mall-esque structure we were present in and eventually found my friend. Upon finding her, I was met with a bright smile and a hug. Excitedly, she wanted to show me her own powers.

Instinctively, I somehow knew her powers were similar to my own; once she grabbed what appeared to be a cardboard box and started rising into the air with it, I grabbed the other side and followed suit. Overjoyed, we both began flying wildly throughout the building, occasionally running into people and inadvertently destroying things. It appeared we were out of the ordinary in conduct; maybe even a nuisance. But we didn't care; we were having too much fun to care.

During the middle of one particular flight we took over the middle of the mall, a modern, alternative rock cover of Tears for Fears' Head Over Heels started playing crisply and clearly throughout the entire building. I recognized it and it lifted my spirits, though I didn't acknowledge it publicly. Almost in perfect synchronization with the music we continued flying around with the box and floating low to the ground with it, zooming along different stores and kiosks and knocking things around.

Shortly after this, I don't remember if anything else happened because I woke up. And I was extremely saddened to realize that none of it was real, because it was probably the most fun I had ever had throughout the entirety of my life--tangible or otherwise. Friendship, surreality, and an immense amount of juvenile fun--all of the elements that I long for were present, and it great quantity at that. I can only hope one day that vision will be brought to fruition.

I used to have interesting ones that I could remember fairly decently (and even kept an old log of them), but after a while I stopped having ones I could remember or that really warranted any interest.

Oh well.

I have a log of them somewhere on Jul. I haven't update in a while, maybe a week or two.

I tend to have at least one dream a night.

I used to log my dreams pretty much daily, though I've lately been pretty devoid of interesting dreams.

Maybe I'll post some of said old logs if there's enough interest. Can't quite do it now anyway, I'm not exactly home.

I don't really keep up with a log of dreams, but oddly, I remember them as far back as 3-5. Creepy...

Yea... I don't really log my dreams, but I do log them sometimes, like if I have a really good one or something

In fact, I've come up with some fantasy names from dreams, and also have had dreams involving various RPGs...

I rarely remember my dreams.
Like, "once in a blue moon" rarely.
One of the only ones I remember out of this whole year's worth was one that was very strangely vivid.
I dreamt that Taito was making a game called Chrono EXIT in which the focus was high-speed rescue action, as an opposite to EXIT 2, which was nearly all puzzle gameplay.

I still wish it'd happen.

Not too creepy. I'm the same way. I'll also have reoccurring dreams.

I'll have a recurring dream that is almost exactly the same for so many years, and then later on, I'll start getting another recurring dream that actually picks up where the last one left off, and I'll never have the first recurring dream again. I have several of these.

Then there are dreams that will remind me of other dreams that I've had before, causing me to either segue into that same dream again, continue that dream's story, make me realize that my current dream is actually a prequel to the one I had before, or I will start lucid dreaming once I realize I'm asleep.

------------

More common than recurring dreams with me though is recurring themes or situations. One I know exactly where it comes from. I'll be in a situation with a large group of people where I am either supposed to meet up with one person, trying to find one person, or am actually right next to the person but I am out of their social circle. In any case I will never find this person in my dream at all because they don't want to be found, and sometimes I realize this in the dream itself. It's almost always the same guy too from way back in high school. I always felt closer to this guy than I actually was, when basically I was always chasing somebody that just wanted to avoid me. So I guess this has manifested in my dreams. Not surprising then that the dream settings are usually either movie theaters, classrooms, pep rallies, football games, school buses, school letting out, or trying to find my next class, as that is where we usually saw each other.

What's weird though is why am I still having these dreams? I've been over this guy for years now, and I'm not in a similar situation with anybody. I think its a yearning to feel certain emotions again in general. Even though it was a very bad situation, I still have a bunch of emotions linked to it. I think these dreams are an attempt to recapture those emotions. Either that or it is just another way for me to process the whole thing subconsciously.

On that level, I'll frequently have dreams where I am just chillin' like nothing ever happened, with people that I used to get along with but now despise. I guess those are more of remembering happier times too. But then some dreams will actually have me hook up with said people, even if they are people that I NEVER thought of that way, and certainly not now that I think they are a douche. Those dreams are usually disturbing.

I used to not remember by dreams at all.

But lately I've been having a ton of dreams I remember, and also fairly odd ones.

Like I had a dream the other night where I was on my PC, at work, finishing work I had been doing that day. Got on Jul and I was the Jul MotM. Very weird. Especially when I got into work the next day and my project wasn't done.

I usually don't have dreams very much. If I do they are some really really really weird ones out of this world that doesn't make any sense.

Like this one for instance...

I was at home getting ready to leave when all of a sudden the characters from Pokemon showed up in front of me. Ash, Brock, and Misty. They all wanted a ride so they just got into my car. They even had some of there pokemons out like Onyx, Togopi, and etc. I was like "How are they all fitting in my small ass car?"

Well then I happen to look over around the other side of my car and I saw another one just like mine. A bum black guy was in there planting a seed in one of my floor mats. He saw me and said "Brother don't let that seed die, please don't let that seed die" He had a look on his face like he was about to cry when he was saying all that. I looked back at where he planted the seed and wouldn't you know it.... I saw a Chikorita poking at the spot where the seed was. It too was like crying about the seed.

Yes, very strange dream i had and I can't explain why I remember what the black man said. I just remember him talking and stuff. I'm surprised I even remembered anything cause usually i don't remember dreams very well

I have dreams that isn't a dream at all. I feel like if I was going to leave my own body but my arms sometimes move even if they sleep.

I can't recall the last dream I had. I mean, I'm sure I've had them, but... nothing that I remembered in the morning, sadly. :\

Definitely haven't had any nightmares in a looooooong time, though.

I have been experiencing vivid dreams while—and since—coming off of Efexor.

Last night I think I dreamt about web development, except in the dream it didn't resemble actual web development work at all.

I don't remember too many of my dreams. When one is memorable, sometimes I'll add it to a log file that I've been keeping for close to 2 years now.

...I somehow had the worst dream I've had in ages. Already forget a lot of it.

First, a sub-dream in this dream. I dreamt we had to move back into my old apartment. For some reason I ended up in my college looking down over one of those "pits" to the first floor on the top floor... but instead of tables, I saw incredibly strange-looking Macs with CRTs that could display 5120 x 4096 resolutions. I ended up dropping things off the balcony moments after they turned back into the tables. I dropped a few things off said ledge before waking up. Within the dream.

Turns out the dream I was dreaming about was true, so I ended up discussing giving the house to one of my friends in need (I forget whether it was Bitmap or someone else nobody here would recognize). I then realize they couldn't get here, so I have to fight like fuck to get my mother to try to get a job, while I went at it a bit more willingly. It was raining, amusingly enough... and there's a lot of other odd crap I forgot.

...I soon woke up from that. Fortunately, I do not have to move.
