I had trouble with the M64ROMExtender. When you unzip it, you may need to add in the folder another folder named "MIO0files".

Anyways. Does anyone know how to change messages from Toads and Sign Posts?

Ok, Select a Sign or Toad, Part of the menu should have a Macro Present, B Param 1 and a Message box, select the cube in the Message Box Thing, then on the left side of the menu a yellow menu with different messages used in the game will appear, you can now select any message an have it use it by simply clicking on one of the messages, and then saving it.
You have now changed the message that pops up from a toad or sign.

How can I change text data at the beginning of a level (Footrace with Koopa the quick, Big Bob-omb on the summit, etc) ???

TT64 can only edit which messages are shown, to edit messages, level names and act names (like "Footrace with Koopa the quick") you need the Super Mario Text Wrangler, found on this page: http://homepage.mac.com/qubedstudios/Mario64Tools.htm

yes, only just download text wrangler and select to levels so find what you want change, and change! easy, you can also change level names, i changed the "Rainbow Ride" to "Rainbow Six 3" lol...
