A song I wrote for someone. Thought you guys might get a kick out of the whacky imagery. I'm usually a surrealist and referential writer mostly, but whatever. I like this piece, none the less. This would go good over some moody trip-hop I believe.

When lilac lust lets go
The sands beneath the candle subside
Moments are growing encased
In a fluorescent glow
Taking the risk of a triangular peace
Love reaps the fields of the tower clock's cease
Telekinesis lifts the heart
Only God knows when the chromosomes part
Personal preference is diminished
Mortgages of velvet shape
A palindrome never finished
Through citric sensitivity
Taking blood from a ghost
Monochrome sanction is relieved then,
Of its rain biotic captivity
Delicate flower
Do not deflower
A
Brunette set of letters and screams
Dabbled and frothy in texture
Feed the triangle's tapestry
To the shape-shifted lily crater
Impact upon a skyline of
Psychedelic hermit crabs
Slaughter the stingray
And present on a plate
Another delicious day
Starlight exploits the graveyard
Cast a triple cure
To what once was scarred
