I'd just like to say that if ANY of the good emulators for Wii homebrew end up supporting online play at some point, then I'll (as well as a lot of other people) will be in heaven.

It's a pipe dream, but still.

I'm actually very pleased with the beta PSX emulator I got for the Wii, WiiSX. So far, no issues with playing Tales of Eternia. Only annoying thing is that the framerate does tend to jump around in transitions and depending on where you are (~50FPS in towns/dungeons, ~60 on menus, ~90 for transitions, ~60 for battles with slowdown on magic attacks). That and the FPS counter takes up a corner of the screen with its words. I'm assuming those are also beta things, but we're dealing with them. You tend to forget they're there after a short while.

I remember that game actually looked good when it was development. Looks like it didn't quite pan out. :\

I'd actually like to try out Elebits but I've never seen it in stores. Weird.

Oh, I have to suggest WiiDoom. It's great fun with Wii motion controls! Dooms 1/Ultimate, 2, and Final all work, and possibly mods.

My guess is that WAD files would work as well just as long as they weren't doing anything too crazy.

Yeah everything works fine with them other than having no music (though I assume I just don't have the music files on the SD card or something...) and sometimes the wall textures in a few small areas of a few levels don't load so you get dragged graphics (like what it looks like when your compy is on the verge of freezing and dragging a window makes dragged copies across the screen.) Other than those two things, the games work great.

If it wasn't for Wii Sports Resort my Wii would of had about two months of inactivity by now. I'm hoping that New Super Mario Bros. Wii is good enough to make me want to play it frequently again (although I'm aware that it's still a while before that comes out...).

I didn't know how before a few days ago. itsblah and tyty helped me get set up on IRC, though it was a bit nerve wracking at times. Mess up and you could brick your system... Luckily itsblah knew what he was doing and walked me through everything.
