Not that Brawl is super hard to unlock characters anyways. Just play the SSE through and you get them super-quick~ |

| It's simple enough looking at the Challenges screen. Unlockable stages have an identifiable icon, so if you have the game, it's easy to find out how to unlock things. Stages are among the easiest to unlock of all the bonus features. |

What's worse is that when it happens in an online fight, you get pissed if your opponent gets it.
Also, I'm having fun setting records in Stadium and also doing events.

I remember the first CD I went for fell right off the edge of Final Destination.
But yeah, I'll see one as its flashing and not be able to get to it. I'm really hoping to find a Bramble Blast CD soon. I love that song.
My progress so far: 34(?) stages, 31 characters, at the final level of SSE.

I have most of the songs unlocked. At least I got Calling to the Night.
And Bramble Blast.

Tricks to making more CDs appear, courtesy of DarthDarthBinks over at Starmen.net:
1. Unlimited stock match with the only item being Pokeballs, with their spawn level set to very high. Everytime you get Mew, it drops 3 CDs as it flies away.
2. Make the only item the sandbag. Beat him up like mad to get CDs and stickers. |

Add me to that list.
Any way, I still don't have Brawl, so I've been playing Melee to keep from going insane. Although, I have a small worry that this will make me too used to Melee and it'll feel awkward to play Brawl for the first few days.
So... Should I worry about this, or did you guys adjust just fine? |

Me four for Calling to the Night.
I found that the transition was a little strange. The physics and such are different, but after a couple days now, I'm doing fine again.
In other news, I took my Wii and brawl to school because we had a free day in the music department and so there was huge Brawling going on during 4th period. We had four people playing and about 12 people watching, cheering and rotating out. It was an awesome time.

I've been playing Melee for years, and the N64 title even longer than that. Adjusting to the new game will be a bit odd at first, but when you get the hang of it you'll be just as proficient in all the games as you ever were.
The shock factor of first playing Brawl isn't a whole lot. You don't sit there thinking "Woah, this is way freaky," you just go "Well, that's a bit different." |

Yeah, I'm playing brawl with a GC controller. I haven't converted to using the actual wiimote yet. It took me a while to get used to the game since I hadn't played it in almost 3 years. But once I got my groove back, nothing new changes. I think the only new adjustment that was gameplay-wise are using some of the items and how to effectively use the final smash, which for some characters is annoying as hell.
Speaking of final smashes, I hate it when CPU characters use final smash and only try to go after me, the only human player playing |
