I've been looking around the Wiki and all of the unused content you guys have found is incredible. However, I noticed a lack of unused content found in Godzilla video games, so I decided to post a topic about all of the unused content I've discovered within these games:

Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee

Unused Content:

Here's a playlist of all of the content I've found and recorded: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLgnHhItWZCv4QUAIzEz9ZelXoMMt-UL5

- Arena, a map used to test the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLCaYi3d5mY
- Test_City, another map used to test the game, crashes if you pass a line of buildings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbp5hLFgGw8
- Mothership Day version, this map crashes when loaded.
- Protoville, this map also crashes when loaded.
- Fixed Camera, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekZNYI5DbHw
- Free Camera, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmMxDQ0_UgA
- Helicopter Camera, although it may be used during Replays: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqopDyWAL-Y
- Playback Camera, this does not function correctly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3o6C5YFPaRM This is not the same camera used in the replays, as there's a camera called Melee replay
- Mechagodzilla 2 (Heisei MG) is a leftover character in the Japanese version of GDAMM: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGO64a0lyNU I'll explain this later.
- The Super X 3 was planned to attack the player who caused the most destruction to the cities, however, it was scrapped due to it not functioning correctly. There is no known way to reenable it, but the model file appears to be intact after inspecting every map's CCG file.
- Single Player Melee Mode. This mode is actually set up correctly in the files but the game appears to "ignore" the code for it. By replacing 2 Player Melee mode, this mode can be reenabled and it is fully functional.
- Sun and Moon icons. They were replaced by text saying "Day" and "Night".
- The Entire US version of the game is leftover in the Japanese version and is accessible by changing the game ID to a US ID, IE: Change GZDJ70 to GZDE70.

Japanese/US Differences:

- The language, obviously.
- The Title of the game. In the United States, the game is titled Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee while in Japan it is titled Gojira Kaiju Dairantou which roughly translates to Godzilla Great Monsters Fray.
- In Japan, the character "Mechagodzilla 2" is replaced with "Mechagodzilla 3" due to the fact that Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla was being released in Japan around the same time the game was released in Japan.
- The Box Art was changed for the Japanese release which featured Mechagodzilla 3(Kiryu) and the 2002 version of Godzilla, however, only MG3 ever made it into the game.

Xbox/Gamecube Differences:

- The Xbox version includes both MG2 from the US Gamecube version and MG3 from the Japanese Gamecube version.
- A Boxing Arena and the Vortaak Homeworld were added.
- All Game Modes can be played without the use of another controller.
- On the technical side, it appears the Sky Domes are now contained within separate files.
- Tons of references to Baragon within the text files, however, the character model is missing. Sounds may or may not be present.
- Interestingly, Protoville was removed from the Xbox Version.
- Different file formats were used in each console version.

Godzilla: Save The Earth

Unused Content:

- Biollante is located in the files and is almost fully functional, but is not 100% complete. She is missing her rage attacks and her tentacle burrow attack is extremely glitchy. She can be reenabled by hex editing the .VOL file in the PS2 version and replacing any references to mghidorah. Doing so will result in the loss of Mecha King Ghidorah, but Biollante is a way cooler character anyway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otKDuF5tr2Y
- A map used to test the rail mini games: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogGVOtxo-KA
- A Monster Upgrade menu was apparently 100% complete according to developer Simon Strange. There is a BSF file leftover to support this, however, there is no known way to reenable this menu.
- Unused Text talking about a Gigan Clone Challenge
- Many unused SFX: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-tLIqVO2YU
- The PS2 version contains a libeenet.txt
- A possibly unused Ebirah playable character. Ebirah appears in game as a boss in a rail mini game, there is a .ZIP file and .CMP/F file which are the file formats for the playable characters. To support this theory, there is an Ebirah.BDP file used for the rail mini games.
- Destoroyah_Carnival, probably used for the cut Adventure Mode.
- JetJaguar_Carnival, see above.
- WorkInProgress.BSF, used for the E3 demo seen in the Toho Kingdom E3 videos.
- E3Upgrade.BSF, some file for E3.
- The same camera modes from GDAMM are available.

US/Japan Differences:

- Box Art, changed for no apparent reasons.
- Language
- Some unknown exploit with the Godzilla 90s character was fixed. What it was is beyond me.

Xbox/PS2 Differences:

- The Xbox version uses different file formats.
- Power Lines were added to some stages in the Xbox version.
- I believe all maps are available for Melee Mode in the Xbox version, but I'm not 100% sure.

Godzilla: Domination!

I haven't taken a good look through the game's sprites or anything, but there probably isn't much.

US/Japan Differences:

- Title of Game. US version is titled Godzilla Domination! while the Japanese version is titled Gojira Kaiju Dairantou Adobansu which roughly translates to Godzilla Great Monster Fray Advanced
- In Japan, the character "Mechagodzilla 2" is replaced with "Mechagodzilla 3" due to the fact that Godzilla Tokyo SOS was being released in Japan around the same time the game was released in Japan. However, his moveset remains unchanged from MG2.
- In Japan, Godzilla is charcoal grey instead of green, which is much more like the traditional Godzilla. The Japanese version also has a scar on his chest due to the fact that Godzilla Tokyo SOS was being released in Japan around the same time the game was released in Japan. His moveset remains unchanged.
- In Japan, Mothra is recolored to look much more like the traditional Mothra rather than the 2001 version. She is based off the 2003 version of her due to the fact that Godzilla Tokyo SOS was being released in Japan around the same time the game was released in Japan. Her moveset is unchanged for the most part, but her powder attack was recolored to match her scales attack from Godzilla Tokyo SOS.
- Two new game modes were added to the Japanese version, Survival and Rage mode, which are really just modified versions of the story mode.

I did some research on this game and supposedly Biollante was originally the final boss of the game until she was cut and replaced by Mecha King Ghidorah. She was likely cut and replaced due to licensing issues, the same reason why she wasn't in Godzilla Save The Earth. There were also supposedly other cut characters, but I don't recommend trusting this information until I can confirm it myself. There are customly made sprites in the style of this game, so don't get confused with any of those.

Godzilla Unleashed (Wii Version)

Unused Content:

- Unused level simply titled "60". No known way to access.
- Unused level called "Proto_Level". No known way to access.
- Unused level called "New_LA". No known way to access.
- GameType_Survival.pvm, Survival mode never made it into GU. No known way to access.
- References to a Super X Airstrike in the uber files.

While some websites claim Hedorah and Toronto exist as unused content, this is not true.

As a side note, no version of GU was released in Japan.

Godzilla Unleashed (PS2 Version)

Unused Content:

- Unused level called "PS2_60". No known way to access.
- Music from the Wii version is leftover and interestingly was converted to a format the PS2 can actually play!
- The same camera modes from GDAMM are available.
- A PSPGame.pvm, a leftover from the unreleased PSP version!

Godzilla Unleashed: Double Smash

Unused Content:

- An early version of the Godzilla model is present and functional: http://i.imgur.com/tt38dgE.png
- A... gorilla... http://i.imgur.com/euyrshj.png Is this a leftover from some other game...?

This is all I got for now, but I'm constantly looking for more content and I'm sure I must have forgotten something.

Godzilla vs. King Kong?
http://manapop.com/film/review-of-king-kong-vs-godzilla/

Watched too much Toho stuff and all the monsters start blending together (especially the repurposed suits) so could be wrong about that.

Great you're poking through these titles. They're great games and a lot of unused content.

That's what I was thinking, but the gorilla doesn't really look like King Kong. Could have just been some placeholder for something.

Something I didn't mention was how there's tons of developer messages in the .txt files. They're nothing too interesting though.

I also found a TON of unused voice clips in the American version of the new PS3 Godzilla video game, apparently there were originally 15 disaster levels! However, it'll take time to figure out which clips are actually used and which ones aren't but once I figure that all out, I'll probably make a new topic for it.
