| I've had this particular demo sitting on my desk for a while but unfortunately haven't had much time to really dissect it due to life. There are some different cutscenes from the final release, although for the most part the beginning imitates the final release of the game. There are also some unused items that are left in that aren't left in in the final game, and some different art assets such as the map. Additionally, there are some dumpsters and items left around in the unplayable part of the 1st part of the demo, likely for debug purposes. I haven't actually opened the game data itself up as it's very tedious to do without 010 Editor, and I no longer have access to 010 Editor. The Japanese version of Raw Danger also has a GSDX hack which can be applied to this demo through hex-editing the .dll file of the GSDX plugin, which will it playable with HW rendering. If anyone is interested in checking out this demo in that fashion let me know and I'll put up a custom GSDX plugin. According to my notes, 20614CD4 is the byte where the checkpoint ID for the wrecked banquet hall level is stored. Changing this byte value to 91 will spawn you (after a game over) past the end of the first part of the demo and allow you to check out the rest of the wrecked banquet hall level. |
