Hi, I was wondering if anybody has tried digging around the files of Neopets: The Darkest Faerie for the PS2. It's a little known game that came out back in '05, and what I'm interested in is the canceled PS1 version of the game.

They released screenshots and even a finalized box art of the game before they scrapped it and moved on to the PS2. I'm really curious if that beta version might still be on the disk. I'm playing through the game right now (It's... not very good lol) and could provide insight to what made it in and what didn't.

Wow, didn't know anyone else was interested on the canned ps1 version. Who knows, maybe a search through on this might be like what happened with the starfox adventures demo disc. If I knew how to search through a disc for stuff like that I would love too!

That's what I'm hoping for honestly! And I'm equally surprised that anyone else even knows what I'm talking about; I've been curious about the canceled version since '03, when I was eight years old!

And even if we didn't find it, I would love for somebody to dig through the game and see if there's anything interesting at all. It's not an extremely polished game, so I really wouldn't be surprised if there was some cool stuff in there.
