I found a screenshot of Digimon World 3 that caught my interest.

The description in the article the picture used claims its from Digimon World 3, but it does not represent the battles in-game which looks like this http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/1/17409/934700-battle_old_man.jpg

The characters pictured in the portraits of the first image comes from Digimon World 2, Akira being the red-head fellow and the masked foe a Blood Knight, but they do not appear in-game and Digimon World 3 isn't tied to Digimon World 2 story-wise. I first headed to the Cutting Room Floor assuming that there might be more info on the Wiki, but these games were not listed.

Instead I found one thread that was relevant, but it had died off. http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/3196/t1741396-hidden-content-of-digimon-world-games/ It seems from the findings that perhaps Digimon World 3 might have intended to be related to Digimon World 2 at one time and Digimon World 2 also has an image of File Island from the first Digimon World, but isn't used.

I think this would be a great addition to the Wiki if someone could dig deeper into the games. Unfortunately I have no knowledge or experience of doing so myself, so I came here to hopefully bring attention to this.
