Looking through the game data reveals a few things of interest:

File replacement doesn't work, for the game usually locks up on the title screen. However, I managed to find the strip of code in Cheat Engine that is the level modifier, although some warps won't work unless you use the code in a specific place (Ex: Before the main menu pops up)

For an easy way to find the value, just go to Ancient Lake, then in Cheat Engine, set the scan to 2 bit and search for the value 0015, which is it's level value. Fossil Canyon's is 0016, Jungle Falls is 0017, etc. If you keep thinning down the results, you'll come to the single strip of code that controls the levels.

I really want to find out which value in the level mod is the debug menu, but most of the values outside the regular ones tend to lock up the game. I'll still try to mess with the level mod code, but any help is appreciated.
