So, I just played through Sticker Star and, since I'm Swedish, I got the European version. Discussing the game with an American shows that there are some changes, most notably in "Thing" names. Faucet -> Tap, Thumbtack -> Drawing Pin and stuff like that. While a list like that would be neat to see, there's something that interests me more.

According to the American I was talking to, and apparently multiple strategy guides and walkthroughs, the final form of Bowser can be defeated without using *OMITTED DUE TO SPOILERS* by chaining multiple Infinijumps as the head of the final form isn't considered spikey by the game. In my version of the game, this is not the case and Mario takes damage from jumping on his head, suggested that the American behavior was an oversight fixed in later versions.

Could anyone else confirm that this is indeed the case? Some lazy googling yielded no information about this. Also worth noting is that I bought the game through the e-Store (December 25 iirc), which could in theory be different from the cartridge version. Comparing to the Japanese version(s?) would also be neat.

(Also, yay (sarcasm) for the European version using a British power outlet in the desert oasis, despite most of Europe using another standard. It took me a few minutes to figure out what the hell it was supposed to be and I doubt that most non-British European kids would recognize it as an outlet either.)

I'm not entirely certain, but I vaguely recall being able to jump on the head (and being surprised that I could). I need to play the fight again to make sure, so don't quote me on it.

Edit: I was wrong. Jumping on the head doesn't work. (Thanks, Line Jump!) Please note that I have the download version, so they could have tweaked it afterwards.

Bowser can still be beaten by using Iron jumps. The game doesn't save the game so you lose the sticker after the credits, but it can still be thrown away before saving Peach. I can confirm two versions exist (atleast two PAL versions) the bowling ball sticker crashes the game when its used against the third or fourth boss in the first versions of the game. It doesn't work on my version that I bought pretty early (maybe a week after its release, its the cartridge version)
