                                                Reveals quite a bit of features and stuff that was altered or removed in the final game, such as Springfield being one whole map (from the looks of it, anyway). The video title says this is an alpha, and it really looks like it considering a few oddities here and there such as the glitched horn, Mr. Burn's limo having way more ramming power than in the final, Homer having a slightly different model, the insane ease of making money, etc.

                                                The title screen at the end also states that the game was at 50% completion at the time. Personally, the graphics looked stunning for a cartoon world, and from the looks of it, the developers intended for Springfield to be one massive map, but probably had to split up the maps and scale back the graphics to similar games in that era in order for it to run smoothly.

                                                My question is what, if anything, was dummied out in the final game.

                                                E; Found some more footage! Apparently at the time of the demo there was six neighborhoods, much like in the final, yet the Entertainment District was instead labeled simply as Moe's. The driver select screen is also slightly different and includes Homer's second car as a separate menu item, but the amazing this is that JASPERS AND MOLEMAN WERE INTENDED TO BE PLAYABLE CHARACTERS. The story is also slightly different, with Mr. Burns hiking up the bus fare as well as making them nuclear powered. You were also payed by how much you moved versus how long you have someone in the car, and considering that and the beta's plot and overall giving away of cash willy-nilly, it's fair to make the assumption that they tweaked it significantly for the final game.
