So I come in to Cisco Networking today to find my PC with NTLDR missing. The teacher walks in and congratulates me on how I was able to delete the administrator password and when the teacher went to ghost it and restore it the NTLDR blew up. Of course, we were trying to find out the admin password via the SAM file and Ophcrack but I have a feeling he uses a password that is over 14 characters anyways as I listened to him type it.

I tried to boot Slax on the PC yesterday though, but apparently it kept telling me the CD-ROM drive was incompatible (Weird, huh?). So I never did grab/touch the SAM file.

He's pretty intent that I deleted the password somehow, but in all reality, I didn't. Noone else touched it but me, it's basically my computer. I'm not in any real trouble, he realizes I know more then everyone else in the class so he is from now on relying on me to fix and set up server stuff.

I don't know if this is cool or not...I apparently killed a PC without trying!

That reminds me of how my old school's master password was always the name of a sport. One year it was soccer, then hockey, then basketball, etc. I was surprised that no one ever caught on that half of the students knew it

What you said is extremely weird though. If you didn't do it then you will hopefully be found innocent in the end but I know that getting blamed for stuff you didn't do sucks

Ω > U
I got this in high school constantly, mostly because I was the only person who knew anything about computers in a 92-total high school. If anything went wrong I was the first person to come to/blame. A virus might be on a comp and people would think I did it.

IT'S CALLED DON'T LOAD THE DAMNED PORN ASSHAT

Even then, what I knew then is nothing compared to today...and even then it's really nothing too brilliant (helps being a computer tech, though).

BMF had the same problem ("Something went wrong, blame the guy who knows things"), as did I.

Truly, schools are all about being incompetent morons these days.

I was playing around in Photoshop and the teacher told me to stop goofing off...

...while the person in front of me had Yahoo! music (which was blocked) playing in the background.

Apparently I knew too much yet prefered messing in Photoshop than finding ways to unblock websites.
Although I could have played ZSNES in the corner of the screen and she wouldn't see it on her computer haha.

By the way, fun factoid: Slightly transparent windows have problems showing up in remove view sessions. Radmin doesn't display them, printscr doesn't... Another level of "hiding" you can do if they use something like that.

Yeah, the school network (this was back in the days before they got Internet access, mid-90's) got infected with a virus, and somehow they traced it back to my assigned computer in the crappy lab downstairs. Never mind the fact that I hadn't even used it recently, and the only floppy disk I used with it pretty much stayed on school grounds, and they never even had conclusive proof to begin with. The on-campus police officer, being a gullible moron who believed anything the teachers told him, and lacking anyone else to blame, was dead-set on making me confess ("THAT'S NOT THE ANSWER I WANT TO HEAR durfdurf gonnaexpelyou"). It took forever to regain the trust of the teachers after that (word of my "evil deeds" apparently spread like wildfire), and I'm pretty sure some of them still didn't trust me by the end of my senior year.

Yeah, computers are basically these magical machines that go completely wrong if you slightly jar them knocking out the harmonic frequency of all the parts and the only people who can do that are the people who know how to use computers, just like the only people who can crash cars are mechanics.

This has hapened to me numerous times. My familly ussually depends on me to do everything for them computer-wise. If something happens thought, I'm ALWAYS blamed first. At school however, I'm more fortunate.

I don't know why I put this here.
People try to blame me for things, then I chew their ears off and they flee in terror.

Later on, they usually come to me for help rather than to blame me. At least, in highschool, I was always the guy fixing the computers.

I try to help, but last year my comp sci teacher got pissed at me because I knew more than she did about the computer, and just ignored everything I said, so I'm not so helpful anymore.

I love it when a problem happens, and when you can fix the issue, you get blamed for the problem.

"*Insertnamehere*, the internet is down!"

"Bell south is going through some troubles, give it 2 hours."

"Well, if its not fixed soon, im taking away the internet."

"Uhh, last I checked...Im paying for it".

Print Screen shows them, it's the only screen capture method I know of that does. (again.)

Oh. (Haha, damnit.)

I knew there was some way to capture them (since I've done it before, and do every time my clock shows up in a screenshot) but I couldn't remember what it was.

Probably got it confused with video.
