Rena I had one (1) message in Discord deleted and proceeded to make a huge, huge mess about how it was a violation of free speech and how moderators are supposed to be spam janitors and nobody should have the right to tell me not to talk about school shootings Level: 135 Posts: 4702/5390 EXP: 29043512 For next: 291493 Since: 07-22-07 Pronouns: he/him/whatever From: RSP Segment 6 Since last post: 330 days Last activity: 330 days |

Post #4702 · 04-24-12 01:40:46 AM In a few months I'm gonna have to move, and I'm looking at Vancouver as a destination. I'm sick of living in small towns all my life (currently middle of nowhere, Alberta) and I think I'd like to live in a city, and this seems like a nice place. But I don't know a lot about it. Anyone live(d) there, have any comments? How much things cost, what are good places to be, etc?
I hope to get a job in programming or some such (going to look at them online before I go), so I'd want to live somewhere nearby such places, not way off on the islands where it'd take an hour to commute to work. (I don't have nor plan to get a car, either.) But those places are probably more expensive, too... ____________________ |

I'm imagining if a ferry is involved it's going to be expensive and only run a couple times a day. Or are they more like buses? If I even need to take one.
Especially if there are a lot of social events and such... here, there's really not much to do but go to bars, and I hate bars.
