We don't have any proof yet, but "The Glitch" and I have been using AIM to relay messages about our hack together.

The hack concept is to make Peach playable as the main character for a change. I wanted to do this because I'm a major Daisy Fan, and since Daisy isn't in the game, I decided to do this Peach as Main Character hack.

I've currently edited the Texts used in the game, and The Glitch and I are waiting for VL-Tone's response to the PM that I dispatched to him.

The hack is going to add original features to SM64, like Positive and Negative Power Blocks, and other goodies.

As for the screenshot(s), I edited a sign for beta testing reasons:

Actually, The Glitch and I are have been using Hex Workshop to achieve good results. Not to mention Toad's Tool 64 as well.

Update!

I've successfully changed some of the Graphics. For the Star icon, I used SM64DS's star icon, with the funny looking "X" with it. Here's a screenshot of the file select screen:


There's still work to do. The Glitch and I have to work on patching Peach's animations, so she'll behave properly, not retarded with her arms here, there and everywhere else.

A error occurred while I was using Toad's Tool 64, and it crashed, but here's the funny part - the error made the bomb go underwater. Here's the Screenshot with the bomb-omb - mind you, it's underwater, and chasing me:


You can also see the main work that I did on the HUD Icons.

I'll be releasing a beta patch after we get the Peach animations fixed, which hopefully wouldn't take too long.
