So after playing this game with a friend, I decided to peek and see if there was unused stuff in it. Sure enough, there is! Since I only have about 15-20 minutes to be awake, I figure I can post some stuff here and then perhaps we can get started on looking for other things!

What I have found is an item mod code that accesses some unused stuff! Some stuff has its own graphics, I think, and others don't:

FCEU Cheat: 0078:XX - Item Mod

09: This doesn't appear to be any item. This may or may not be an empty slot?
0B: A scroll item that's fully functional! When you press Select, you go to the map screen and it shows where you are, kind of like the in-between level things. No idea why it got cut.
0D: This odd thing looks like a lightning bolt, but if you press Select, the game freezes. This seems to occupy several slots.

Does it just show the -area- that you're in, or does it pinpoint your exact location? I'm surprised it got cut either way, because even if it just showed which level you were on... Wizards & Warriors had some... really, really crap items that are about as useful. See: Cloak of Invisibility.

No, it actually shows where your current location is! That's the strangest thing. I'm assuming that whenever you're in an "inside" area, it's not going to show you on the map, but I tested that out by moving far away from the position that I was marked at, and sure enough it followed!

EDIT: I checked the item in Transhexlation, and it's just called "MAP", so that's probably just all it was going to be called.

I'd like to be able to find a walk-through-walls/fall through floors code or something to see if I can maneuver myself through the various bonus rooms that are in the Purple Cave to see if there's any that aren't used in the game. Same with the level with the growing skeleton boss in it. The scrolling in these areas seems to indicate that they're all on one "map area", so to speak.
