I have read a post on 'Is this normal' where someone asked if it was normal to shove parakeets up there for pleasure because she just had to do it and they were right there.

Speaking of weird animals to eat, have any of you guys ever had kangaroo or ostrich meat? They're supposed to be really good! And healthier than beef, too. I hear Fuddrucker's got some exotic animals on their menu, like elk, buffalo, wild boar and, of course, ostrich. Too bad the nearest ones are kind of far.

I've had squid and shark meat before. the shark meat was salty, but good. but the squid was like trying to eat a rubber tire covered in salt.

Uh-huh. I'm not a huge fan of exotic seafood (yet?). Really, the weirdest thing I've ever eaten is probably duck. Which is totally weird.

I called Fuddrucker's earlier today and none of the locations in Massachusetts are carrying ostrich meat right now! Apparently it's because their stock population is particularly low this year so they need to wait for it to go back up before serving them as tasty ground meat.
