I finally found the Dr. Mario Debug menu with this code:
7E0BAF0A

I'm currently working on a code to make it practical. Also, I'm currently looking if there is a way to enable options menus via button code as well as checking for an intuitive debug menu for Mixed-Match with direct access to the true Options menu, and I have high hopes.

Another interesting finding:
7E0B44:00-03 gives different error messages if a device is inserted into either controller port that is incompatible with this game.

I'm quite amazing how much unused content lurks in this game and I'm still looking.

Also, you can use the Mouse buttons with the menus, but after exiting the screen, you are presented with the accessory error message.

This code seems interesting so I'm going to try poking around with this for a few minutes.

Major breakthrough!

You can easily access the debug menu for the selected game, just press A on the Tetris & Dr. Mario Title Screen. Press A to go to the selected game's Title screen after configuring the debug menu.

There is no Mixed-Match Debug menu, but I guess having two sets of option menus makes up for it.

Will post updates once I find an easy way to access the true Mixed-Match Options and if there is a button code for the options, or debug menus present in any of the available games.

Edit: I'm not going to triple post; twice is enough. I made the code I wanted, and I searched hard only to find that there is not a trace of any sort of button combination codes to be found in the ROM. However, I made a small discovery earlier today: There is a ROM version number in the ROM text, so that will included on the next update of the article as well as adding the anti-piracy messages; one appears to be unused, but I think I know where it was going to be used, aside from the obvious.
