| I thought the last touchdown was sometime with less than a minute to go...yeah, it was with 0:35 left to go. Also, I might mention I marked the fuck out when "The Final Countdown" started playing after that touchdown. |

I beat this game a long time ago. It's easy once you get the hang of it. Fun stuff, though. Got almost everything, but couldn't find some stuff; probably a glitch. Here's my status screen.![]() Edit: Damn it, apparantly there's a version out that fixes those bugs, but all the downloads to it that I can find that are up have the old version. Damn it damn it damn it. |

| Change is good. Keep this, I like it. Looks a lot nicer IMO. |

| See, this is the other reason why team hacks never work. It just takes one bad apple to ruin the whole crop. It doesn't matter whether that apple was killed, beaten, not an apple anymore, or just plain rotten. If it is otherwise unable to continue being a healthy apple, the rest of them have a tendancy to go down as well (or in the case of translations, continue but force you to read a screen or blurb something about their dead friend/relative/fellow hacker in an intro screen, and possibly other places). Why not try to salvage what's left of the team and try to continue if possible? The main problem I have with it right now is level design, so it shouldn't be all that hard to just fix that up. There comes a point when you pretty much have enough custom stuff anyway. |

| This is exactly why ROM hackers should be calm, patient, and open-minded. Not irritable, intolerant, and obsessive-compulsive. |

| Wow, this place blew up since I was here last. In a good way. I thought there was no chance of the boards being able to reconstruct after the scattering, but hey, this is fairly close. |

| The main problem with Pokemon hacks is that in like 90% of them either it still feels like the original game it came from (Quartz is especially guilty of this), they're too small-scale, or try to be too large-scale and fail horribly. There are a few gems here and there though |

It doesn't matter if what comes of it is a simple index or something more full-fledged. In fact, here's how I would do it: target the Japanese demographic. They're primary missing integral in TASvideos, and if we can bring them in en masse, many others should follow suit. In the meantime, spread it by word of mouth, just chat up unassociated people who've TASed and bring them over. We wouldn't necessarily need torrents/downloads, as most of said TASes end up on YouTube and the like. The input files would naturally be there. Of course, in regards to layout, both possible layouts have their pros and cons: while an index would be nice and simple, we could crush them under modern design if we so chose. Since comments are a nice thing but not always practical (language barriers), the primary focus should be pages/information on the glitches - something TASvideos does have, but is erratic and concealed at best. It's more than possible! We just need to put our best foot forward. |
