It was 94F two days ago, but dropped to the 60-50 range for the next two. Oregon's weather is weird.

I got burnt out on cereal a few years ago, but it's definitely welcome in my life once again.

In other news, had fajitas at my house then went over to my girlfriend's place and had tacos... love Mexican food!

(For the record I'm kind of half-in the shower then)

I've read in the bath until the water was cold, finished a lot of it. It's so damn easy to concentrate in the bathroom that it's a wonder that I don't take my tablet with me when I'm on the toilet!

When I heard about the hurricanes, I immediately became worried about my friends that moved to Florida... but thankfully their only being assaulted by a ludicrous amount of rain.

I'm addicted to Tera Online -- the combat is so damn much fun, even more so because I'm on a PvP server. Kinda sucks when a level 60 1-shots me, because the time it takes to bring my stamina back up and run back to where I was sucks, but thankfully those instances are far and few.

Like everything Disney does, it's a very distilled, cliche'd, and overly presumptuous view of culture and ideology. Dorkly or Robot Chicken has done a better job cropping bad guys together in stupid, over the top shorts.

You do realize the video game bad guys are not the focus of the movie, at all, right? They don't really have much of a role in the film besides being there for premise establishment. This isn't remotely trying to be the who framed roger rabbit of videogames, nor is it so much as vaguely attempting to be comedy shorts.

To be fair "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" didn't have it's famous characters as it's focus, it had a stand alone story which other characters blended into, same of which is what seems to be happening in this movie.

Same with "Cool World".

If anything, I'm sure that it will be full of cameos without any existing game characters taking the spotlight. This movie is about Ralph, not Bowser, and the focus is him trying to become the good guy after being the villain for so long. That's what I got from the trailer, anyway.

I liked how the trailer laid down the basic premise for the film but didn't give away every bit of the story, like most trailers tend to do nowadays.

Pretty much the same with any insurance company. In my experience, they claim to cover all sorts of ailments... until you get one. That's when they conveniently drop you when you actually NEED them. :/

75F is the most tolerable temperature indoors for me. Anything over that and I'm melting and anything below and I'm an ice cube. When I go outside, however, I can tolerate the triple digits like nobody else. I don't like direct sunlight for too long though, as I burn like a lobster.

I've played my fair share of MMO's... in fact, I've played most decent MMO's out there. They usually entail clicking on a monster and rolling your face around on the keyboard until it dies.

Not in Tera.

In this game from Korea, you choose between your standard deal of classes, whether melee, ranged, or spellcaster, but there's a twist -- you actually have to aim your abilities. That's right, you can't just automatically target and whack away. This makes the combat really freaking fun.

I have fun whacking away at random enemies... but what if you want something more? In this game, there are enemies known as BAMs (Big-Ass Monsters), and they live up their names. They're not only much bigger than your standard fare, but they hit harder and are much harder to take down in general. Consider them the bosses, except unlike most MMO's, they're scattered all over the place and not just at the end of dungeons.

My only gripes with this game is that the narrative is somewhat weak (very generic MMO storyline) and the questing is a bit bland... but those quests send you out to kill the baddies, which is the ultimate joy of this game.

PKs are a problems as well, if you play on a PvP server, but that can be overcome if you don't like to be ganked by someone twice your level by simply choosing a non-pvp world.

All in all, this game is wonderful. The world looks great and the animations are top-notch. Also, as extra incentive for straight male players, the better armor you get for your female character, the more revealing it is.

It does have a monthly fee of USA $15 per month. Not too bad considering going to two movies cost more and you get more hours of entertainment in the long run. That's how my logic perceives it, anyway.

Thing is, there really isn't much of a grind to this game. It feels about as grindy as Devil May Cry to me. The quests give you a buttload of experience and they point you in the right direction. Group content came rather quickly for an MMO, I ran into my first BAM at level 19.

Another gripe, though... the crafting system is kinda lame. I want to be able to make stuff that's useful to me now! It takes a while before it actually becomes useful to the character you're using but I guess it's pretty great for gearing up your alts.

A wizard/mage/witch/(whatever) should use a robe or something else that seem magic like as well. It's not really about gender shit for me, it's that I want the gear/cloths/whatever to make sense in context.

Believe it or not, the clothies actually do wear more than the heavies. They've got their robes... the robe is open and beneath that is a tiny bikini, but the robe IS there.

The table summary attribute should be used to describe
the table structure. It is very helpful for people using
non-visual browsers. The scope and headers attributes for
table cells are useful for specifying which headers apply
to each table cell, enabling non-visual browsers to provide
a meaningful context for each cell.

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
