I am going to be studying for my CompTIA certificates this summer and I was wondering how many of you have some sort of IT certificate? How hard were they to get? And can you point me to any really good resources for studying?
Bleh...studying...

The reason I am focusing on certs is because I have discovered that I am not a student and if I want to make a decent living in the IT field it is very helpful to have them. They not only boost your pay but also set you above the other slobs out there vying for your position. I have a list of the ones that I am planning on getting in the next six months. They are all from CompTIA: A+, Network+, and Security+

It depends on what kind of leftovers it is. For instance, leftover steak, lasagna, and other assorted pasta and meat dishes are palatable as leftovers. They don't taste as good as when they were fresh, but you can eat them. Whereas cooked vegetables and some types of takeout food (Chinese for me) are disgusting and I won't touch them.

Speaking of Windows 7, anyone know if Apple is working on making it compatible with Boot Camp? All thats listed is XP and Vista. I bet there is a workaround out there so if anyone could point me in that direction I would be most grateful.

But I'm used to it by now, so no worries for me really. I'm just gonna keep trying and giving my all as I can.
I noticed! I checked out tour website and there was a lot of cool stuff on there! Don't be discouraged, everyone is noticed in there own way. I feel really unnoticed for my writing on my devArt. No one really visits my page and if they do they don't comment I feel I am a decent writer, but if people don't give me feedback how am I supposed to get better? Tis the struggle of every artist my friend

I am switching to Mac for the first time. I am just tired of PC's in general. I slowly began to realize that I really didn't use all the functions that PCs are well known for. One right off the top of my head is gaming. I really don't play video games anymore so the draw of having a PC for that is virtually null and void. I traded gaming for writing and computer graphics and that is what Apple is good at supporting.
That and Microsoft lost my trust as a consumer when they shoved Vista down our throats...that pretty much did it for me. If Microsoft thinks they can shit in a box and force it on me they are dead wrong. I am through with their bad business policies and ethics. You can't create a bad product and force everyone to use it through bullying tactics and bribery. I don't draw a smiley face on a piece of newspaper and hand it to you saying its the Mona Lisa, so don't try to do the same to me.
*nurses his hatred of Microsoft*

Well, humans use only a small percentage of their full brain function in their every day existence. It could be possible that through meditation he was able to unlock the hidden potential of the human brain. It has already been proven that meditation increases your life expectancy and resistance to disease so it is entirely possible that this might be a more extreme case. I would be doing tons of memory and cognitive thought tests to discover if his lifestyle provides a higher brain function. It could be related to the phenomena of people with Autism being incredibly gifted in a centralized area of study; except this would be on a more generalized scale. This could be a milestone in the evolution of mankind! History could be made!

I personally prefer laptops to desktops. Desks in general bother me so I get really antsy when sitting at one. I suppose it doesn't help that I have ADHD which makes me move CONSTANTLY Firepheonix can attest to that. Sitting at a desk or workstation is really constricting for me and makes me claustrophobic so a lap top is preferred because I can get up and go just about anywhere. Plus, I REALLY HATE dicking around on other peoples computers because it feels like I am intruding and stomping on their babies heads or something...I don't know its just me. A laptop is best because I am VERY territorial over my computer. No one touches Beatrice 2.0...NO ONE! I get the feeling that a desk top is for more than one person so I tend to stay away from them. Maybe my feelings are just part of some twisted psychosis but its nevertheless how I feel about desktops.
