I want to play Persona 4, 3 on my PS3. I have heard that you can mod the Wii using an emulator so will the same apply to the PS3?
Another question: If you do mod it and need to take it into the store to get it fixed will you be arrested?

Ah, I probably should have used better diction in my post, but truth be told I just started learning about all these thing-a-mid-gigs, emulators, and other assorted computer jargon recently so a little misinformation is to be expected.

From my experience working in the tourist industry I have learned that there is a wrong way and a right way to "feed da baby". Personally I don't mind it, I mean I glance at it and leave it at that. I do however have a problem with the people that just lay em out there for everyone to see. Be tasteful use a blanket...

I know how you feel Dawn. I met this SUPER HOT NERD of the female persuasion last weekend at a party. I mean she is perfect, likes RP'ing, enjoys dirty jokes, and has nearly everything in common with me. At first I didn't know how to approach her. But then I realized that I had a Charisma score of 45 so I was set. (Kudos to whoever gets the reference) So I just started talking and being genuine. It doesn't matter if your white, black, purple, or rainbow colored; as long as you are confident when you approach then your straight.

I have been active in playing a variety of Pen and Paper RPG's for about two years now and I am curious to see if there are any RPG nerds out here in the Jul Community. Since I am partial to the fantasy setting my preferred choice of game is Dungeons and Dragons. Nothing beats swindling halflings out of their "hard-earned" cash or when you score that critical hit and the DM (Dungeon Master) gives you that awesome description of your fantastic kill. I'm curious, anyone else play D&D or another game of its ilk?

As a DM I usually don't use the pre-made settings or even the Monster Manuals. I like to make up my own monsters and have the PC's fight the ghoulish abominations lurking around in my imagination. I love to pit players against scientific abominations ie. gene therapy, mutants, constructs. In one campaign I am planning the final fight with the big bad is totally awesome. The big bad injects himself with all these gene therapy chemicals and mutagens to make him this enormous super mutant. Imagine facing off a Berserker Space Pirate except five hundred times worse.
As for the set of rules I play with, I usually use the 3.5 system simply because its all I know. I have yet to try 4.0 but I have heard a lot of mixed reviews of it.

To be honest I would support a lawsuit if there was one; the games are just too similar to be separate creative entities.

I am going to loosely interpret the topic and share the first RPG that I enjoyed, Golden Sun. I truly believe that this game was as close as a game will get to perfection.

I actaully got trapped at my friend's house for the ENTIRE weekend because of the snow, on Sunday we dug ourselves out of nearly three feet. Then Firephoenix called to see if I had a snow blower...lazy bastard! *shakes fist*

Scientifically speaking, global warming will actually make Canada warmer; it's the United States that stands to get colder.

Well you see I randomly take a hiatus from internet forums and other community related things, plus having a girlfriend really cuts down on the amount of time you can spend on the internet.

I personally don't use Steam that often, mainly because I don't have a powerhouse PC to run most of the games it offers. Shit, my old gelopi of a desktop has trouble playing Medieval II Total War! I can't possibly expect it to run some of these newfangled processor heavy games that are coming out these days. I will stick to my consoles thanks much ^^;
