| Gee. This is a hard one...it really depends on the type of food you are eating. Here is my list according to the types food I cook:
General Fare: Steak broiled in olive oil(the olive oil traps in the natural flavor of the steak. It is a little more fattening, but well worth it.) and seasoned with salt and pepper(more pepper, less salt); Cajun Fried Potatoes; and a cold chickpea and macaroni salad. Seafood: Grilled Halibut w/ cucumber relish dip; a side of baked potato; and a light green salad with lemon vinegarette. Asian: Many, many, many types of stir fry That is only a couple...I don't want to make everyone hungry. |

| So today started off pretty badly. I cooked myself a beautiful breakfast that took 30 minutes to prepare and was about to eat it except my dog crapped all over the carpet in the next room over. So I put down my fork and went to clean it up. When I returned my breakfast was gone and my dog was nearby and licking her lips. My cat was on the counter looking at the dog disdainfully. I was furious.
Later in the day my cat was sitting atop the bookcase peering down at my dog sitting below. Nothing out of the ordinary there right? Wrong. I walk out of the room to get something and come back in to find my cat projectile vomiting on my dog. My dog freaks out as the vomit hits her and has the proper horrified look on her face, while my cat looks at me with a very pleased look on hers as if to say, "You're welcome". I am convinced that this was premeditated. Can anyone convince me otherwise? |

| It is very rare to find a video game release that is original these days. Usually corporate pocketbooks do not like to try anything new because they are afraid of not making a profit. So Jul, I ask you this. What kind of video game would you make? Do you have a great idea for a game? |

| I am making a game that has a Fire Emblem-esque style of combat. I would really like to crack open the game's code so I can get some ideas. However I can't find a download anywhere. Can anybody point me in the right direction? |

| Everyone has people that say that you look like or act like some relative. So Jul, who so you resemble in your family?
I look almost exactly like my great-grandfather Cado. I have his face, broad shoulders and compact figure. My great-grandfather was a really interesting guy. His wife was in a coma for many many years and he met my great-grandma Elizabeth and fell in love with her, but he couldn't marry her until his wife died. So when she finally died from the flu he married Elizabeth and had my grandma. Great story, huh? |

| My dad is kind of weird in his old age. Every day when he goes to work he calls home at least twice to see how we are doing and he just chats. At first I thought it was kind annoying, but now I find it kind of sweet because he is not really the type of person that shows his affection well. This I suppose is a way that he shows that he loves my mom and I. Do your parents do the same thing? I know most of you live by yourself, but do you call or do your parents call often? |

| I live at home so it is easier for me to be in contact with my parents. I think that when I move out I will still keep in close contact with them. My parents and I are pretty close because we have been through a lot. I am grateful that I have this kind of relationship with them now. The majority of family homes are divorced or separated in America. I am lucky that I still live with a mom and a dad that still love each other... |

| I am making a game with a friend right now. I don't want to leak any of the details because we are planning to try and put the game into production. We aren't going in with the idea of making money. That is the wrong mindset to have when developing an indie game, but our game does have potential. Basically we are doing a different take on a zombie apocalypse game. It is going to be like a visual novel with Fire Emblem combat. It will be more about the character's journey than actually killing zombies. |

This thread is inspired by my Favorite Words thread. So here is the gist of this thread. Find weird and obscure words in the English language and post them with definitions. That way we all learn something! And learning is half the battle
Edit: I forgot to post my word! Absquatulate- meaning to make off, decamp, or abscond |
