I have never heard of it, but since Malcolm Reynolds is in it I would be willing to check it out. What is the show about?

Lately with the intense amount of studying I have been doing + new meds + crazy cat wanting loves in the middle of the night I haven't been getting much sleep.

This sounds really cool! Unfortunately I don't have the attention span to last even an hour on a video game...

Yeah, in retrospect I could have done some research...unfortunately I have the attention span of a goldfish so hind sight 20/20 is a regular occurrence for me

It seems like a lot of these kinds of sites are being taken down recently though. I don't know if it is just the ebb and flow of the internet economy or DRM nazis tightening the rope around our necks...

Oh my god that looks good DD. *mouth water*

I don't usually make stir fry. I am usually a soup and stew guy. The crockpot is my best friend

If I had to make a stir fry though I would put in: cabbage, carrots, leeks, chicken, potatoes, peas, corn, rice, soy sauce, garlic powder, and Worsheister Sauce. Trust me, it is delicious.

What kitchen appliance is your best friend when cooking? For me it is my crockpot. I love making stews and soups in it. Beef Burgundy Stew is my specialty.

I just hope there is not going to be a Snowapocalypse this winter. Last year's nearly broke my back.

Posted on 09-27-10 06:10:45 PM, in Who is your favorite Founding Father? Link
Granted the sanctity of the founding fathers is a mythos held up by cheap superstition and political manipulation, but which one is your favorite?

My favorite is John Adams. I like him because he had principles and he wouldn't budge an inch on them. Nobody really liked Adams because of his ill disposition, but he still held his ground. Overall he was a brilliant lawyer and politician. He was actually the only one of the founding fathers that had any background in law too. He was the only founding father that did not own slaves. He was a great husband too. He and his wife had a real loving relationship. Mrs. Adams was awesome too. She owned her own import business and managed all of the estate's money (Adams was a very bad money manager). I guess the main reason I like Adams is that he seems so normal to me. His problems and shortcomings were very public and he made no attempt to hide them. He had family problems with his sons and marital problems when he was away in France for so long. I just really like how "normal" he is.

Who is your favorite super hero and why?

While I realize Deadpool isn't really a full time super hero, he does fill the role occasionally. He is constantly applying to join the Avengers though, but gets turned down every time. I like him mainly because of his humor. Deadpool doesn't take anything seriously and this paired with his job as a merc for hire always ends with hilarious results. The only thing he takes offense at are doctors who abuse their patients because that was how he ended up a deformed cancerous abomination. He also has a heart too. He does a lot of pro bono work as a merc for people that can't pay but need a wrong righted.
