| I second the desire to learn more about Miss Tea. Namely, how is she in this Dark World, and does she fill the role of one of the dream shapes? Maybe? Or it could just be a nonsensical non-sequitur that we love from this comic. Also, really? What's with all of your criticism toward the Dusting joke? For one, not that bad of a joke, silly and playful like most of the jokes here. But secondly, do you guys really get it? That was the 400th strip. Every 100th strip, Abby and King Longspear and other supporting characters appear for a celebration, and end with "Forgot your box." THAT was the obligation that the title of the comic references! So when Abby says "There's something I have to do..." we are meant to think that she's about to appear to the protags or General Guy with Surprise! Forgot you box. Instead, dusting, not what we expect. The off-logic beat is the joke there, not the actual dusting. Lay off Peardian for being clever and unpredictable. >:/ |

| It's entirely possible that Meta Knight is on this island. But that's not him. That's Shy Knight. You can tell the difference by his mask. It's not Meta Knight's mask, it's Shy Knight's mask. I know it's subtle, but considering that it is indeed Shy Knight, and not Meta Knight, then it makes sense that it is not Meta Knight, but Shy Knight. Different people, and whatnot. Now, not to be rude, but could you either try not to post something kind of useless after every comic? If it was something that could start a conversation, like a clever theory or a poignant observation, then it would be different. But unnecessary comments like "I wish it was Meta Knight instead of Shy Knight" (repeated) or the often deconstruction/misunderstanding of the joke is just annoying. Take for example your comment after Strip 434. The mild punchline there is the anticlimax of expecting horrors, but instead nothing went amiss and Kirby simply left. You felt the need not only to miss the point and get it wrong (as evidenced by the next strip), but if you had been right in the first place, what could your comment have brought to the discussion? If you had been right, you were basically saying "Here is the joke that I got and you got too." Why? And before you get all upset, fuming and steaming about not liking being insulted, then I'm sorry but I'm afraid that if you want not to elicit disapproving comments from the people around you, then you should speak and act in a way that doesn't give cause to those comments. Now, I know I'm going to get some stern responses from people as a result of this little lecture, and I accept that. It would be entirely oblivious of me to say something like this, then behave surprised and insulted if someone thought I was being harsh. Just as it is oblivious of you to speak inanely and without purpose, then behave surprised and insulted when people call you out on it. Try not to do so in future. |

The comics have been becoming more spaced out, and this is one of the longest pauses without any posts by either Peardian or anyone else remarking on it. I'm not blaming Peardian, and I can totally imagine that work and real life has overtaken the pace of making a cute sprite comic for viewers online. You needn't be so venomous right off the bat like that. |
