Well, to each his or her own. I find that the 3D element adds a whole new variety of ways to play the game.

The extra dimension is entirely unnecessary, thank you. It adds unneeded complication to an otherwise fantastic series. Case in point, Metroid.

I actually love the Metroid Prime games, though Super Metroid will remain my favorite. Its a fun game to hack.

It is, though much harder than Super Mario World.

Speaking of Super Metroid hacking, I wonder how Jathys and Kejardon are doing on their hacks?

Jathys' site has said that teasers for Alliance will be leaked someday soon for like a year now.

Yeah I know. I just like seeing releases of Super Metroid hacks. It's my favorite game to play hacks of.
Have there been any new additions to your list since about 6-7 months ago? I think that was the last time I looked.

Cool. I'll have to take a look sometime. Zero Mission looks more accessible than SM.

The sequence breaking in Prime was more dependant on whether or not you had the first version of the game because Retro fixed most of the problems, like the famous get Plasma Beam before Thardus.

I've never tried beating the game without Spiderball. Seems too hard for me. I'll stick with speedrunning the game. Around 3-4 hours is my best.

By e-mail? They could easily claim that it's a Photoshop. That's why no one is 100K richer.

I remember in ninth grade, whenever my friend and I were bored in class we would draw. We ended up drawing a 24 episode comic parodying The Odyssey.

We were bored.

I drew metroid maps in eighth grade homeroom. I actually completed a full game and then added another world and two more power-ups.

Yeah well I got it done. There's plenty of bullshitting in it, double spacing and Arial size 12 for more room taken up. Nice to get it done though. Even nicer to get it done and go to Chipotle with my friend as a self-reward.

I remember when there was no limit to how many times you could install stuff. I must've installed Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge on at least five computers and never had troubles.

I can too. In Zero Mission I can sequence break down to 15% items and beat it on Hard. That is quite a challenge and requires a bit of planning. In SM I sequence break all the time. I remember the first time I played I sequence broke to get Spazer before High Jump without even realizing it.

Ive basically got Zero Mission down to where if I get bored and have an hour, I can just go and run it, start to finish. (Fastest time so far: 45 mins give or take)

:o

Same here. My best is about 50 minutes. I truly can't see how people do it in 30 minutes.

Name: Phoenix
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 17
Appearance: Tall, semi-long black hair, wears a red tunic.
Weapon of choice: Maul with electrical properties.
Personality: Not too bright at all. This causes him to be a fan favorite.
Likes: Peanut butter, Metroid series, annoying his good friend Ultra.
Scared by: Cottage cheese.

Background: Phoenix's first major role was in a comedy fanfiction written on NSider called Paper Wario. In it, he co-starred with his good buddy Ultra the Magikoopa and helped Wario and his gang find the Crystal Stars and defeat the Shadow Queen. Along the way, Phoenix became known for his idiocy and the randomness of the situations he found himself in. He was last seen separating Grodus's head from his neck. Production was however cut on the sequel to the fanfic and the Paper Wario cast split ways.

Phoenix and Ultra traveled together for some time. Eventually they separated ways and Phoenix wandered the country. Now, a year later, he seems to have wandered into the town of Justus League 2, hoping to find residence. He feels that he needs a job, so if he can't find one, he may put his hidden talent of cooking to the test and open a restaurant for the town.

He wonders if he'll ever cross paths with Ultra again...
