There are several places in Norway as well that go by the name of Hell, though, in Norwegian the meaning is slightly different. I'm not sure of the excact meaning though, as it (the word) is not in common use today, but I think it simply means slope/hill/something that is curvy/isn't flat, and you get the picture. 
There is also a suburb outside of Bergen (where I live) called Paradis, which is the Norwegian word for Paradise. There is also a place simply called Å, which is the last letter of the Norwegian alphabet, and also the endpoint of E-10. And I found this page that holds a list of strange town names, some of them has already been mentioned in the thread, though. Heh, imagine living in Crackpot Blow Me Down! | I am studying meteorology. However, I failed two courses last semester, because I'm an idiot.
If I can't do this, then I don't know what to do, so I kind of have to pull this one off. I also did do some volunteer work at a student run bar/concert place last year, but I am not continuing that for the time being, for uh.. various reasons. -------------------- Damage Done. |

| I have never really had any trouble with alarm clocks, or waking up for that matter. I always seem to wake up a few minutes before the alarm clock goes off, and then I just lie in bed waiting for it to go off, so I can get out of bed..
Sometimes I have wondered if I would really need an alarm clock, but I have never dared to try not using one. -------------------- Damage Done. |

| Last time I saw a thunderstorm was in January this year. I love thunderstorms, but I suppose that's a given as I study meteorology.
It was kind of awesome, the lightning actually struck down in the Tv tower on top of Mount Ulriken, and I live right underneath that mountain! The power did flash quite a bit when that happened, and of course, eventually it started to hail. hydrapheetz: Oh, I think I know what you mean about rain, after living in Bergen (see: Rainy City) for a year now, I have grown to despise it. | When I worked in a bar, I was a regular user of caffeine, through coffee (and a regular user of alcohol.. not while I was at work though, mind you..)
Occasionally I would also use tobacco, but this was kind of rare, though. I also know of incidents were people have used what I believe to be marijuana, unfortunately. But that kind of stuff really isn't my cup of tea, mostly because it's illegal. And since someone mentioned Super Mario Bros. as a drug, I'll mention metal. Thrash metal, death metal, black metal, power metal, whatever. Awesome music. Gives me a kick like nothing else. -------------------- Damage Done. |

| I have no idea what Quizno's is (except that they obviously sell sandwiches, or so it appears from this thread..)
The only place I have seen Subway would be at the Oslo/Gardermoen airport, but I have never tried it. The same airport also had Pizza Hut, and I tried that one, because I was just stopping by there to travel on to Bergen, and I needed something to eat.. anyway, it was alright, but nothing special. Pizza at local restaurants or home made pizza is much better... But still, I always seem to stop by there everytime I travel through that airport.  -------------------- Damage Done. |

| My favourite is Japp (Chocolate with caramel on the inside, Europe only.), but I almost never eat candy anyway. Don't have much of a sweet tooth. -------------------- Damage Done. |
