It's very easily doable and works great in the engine - it's just not used in any of the game's tilesets. But you can create really flexible designs this way. (Mushroom platforms and the stairs in ghost houses are a pretty good example of solid-on-top slopes, which also work perfectly.)


You're wrong, the possibility of blocks Mario can run through and stand on is used in the game. In the second part of level 2-5, the metal blocks are using it.

Seriously, Ninja AE is funny too, but it is just porn language and porn language... Mega-Mario is more original.

As you can see, I suck at it. When typing, I look at the keyboard quite often...
(and by the way, yeah, my keyboard is azerty... I guess most people here have a qwerty keyboard. Would be interesting to create a poll about it )

Second attempt. Seems better, heh? I can tyê wxojtj tje etes closed... or almost. Sometimes it gives totzl shut, especiallywhen I don't remember the place of a letter and base muself on a wrong letter... but when I base myserlf on the correct letter, it looks somewhat good.

I think the title explains it all. You type the fastest you can and never go back to fix a typo. What will it look like?


Am I good at all at this kind of thing? I don't konw??? But we'll see. I can type fverty fast but there will be typos, surely... it can't be worse than when i type with my eyes closed. I'm opretty sure I give good results, but there are typos it seemls. But that's not bas bad as I thought. I'm pretty good at typing, tyeah, I know. Seriously, why can't all the keyboards be organized the same way? Why can't everyone use AZERTY (or QWERTY) keyboards?

KinokoLayout v1.0
Inspired from layouts like Bitmap's and 303darthbobby's ones.
Note: Look-wise only. I did NOT just copy-paste their layout code and change the color of the border.

Technical info:
Layout uses two divs with external style sheet
Border color: #0012ef #0012aa
Signature color: #6676fa
Font: Lucida Bright / Georgia / Arial

If you don't like external style sheets, tell me now.
I did read the announcement about external style sheets. While I'm hoping my hosting service will not disappear, I did test the thing with a wrong filename for the style sheet. Ofcourse it broke the layout, but didn't affect loading time.

Edit: 10/30/09 -> my hosting service is down (temporally). Using Firefox, auto-updating disabled. My posts don't seem to affect loading time.

I'm going simplistic, yeah... maybe in the future I will make something with more nuances, like you're saying... but this is better than no layout. And I think it looks good

By the way, I think Lucida Bright always comes with Windows... feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
