Anyone here a concert junkie like me?

As I've lived away from my dad for a few years now, I've started going to concerts whenever I can (because he never let me. thought i'd get my hands on heroin or something, who knows). I've fallen madly in love with live music.

Last summer/fall I saw Death Cab for Cutie, The Bravery, The Academy Is, We the Kings, Cobra Starship, Forever the Sickest Kids, Sing it Loud, Linkin Park, Carolina Liar, Hit the Lights, Hey Monday, Joel McHale (comedian), and went to a few all day festival shows where 50+ bands perform like Warped Tour and Bamboozle.

Now concert season is starting up again and I'm ridiculously excited.

So far I have tickets to see No Doubt and Paramore (who are touring together), Green Day (new album kicks asssss), the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Warped Tour 09. I will hopefully be adding to this as more bands announce summer/fall tours. I went to Bamboozle this year too, it was last month. Was awesome!

I have a billion pics that I could post but don't feel like raping tinypic.com with them all right now.

Anyone else a concert regular? Or wish they were? Post pics! Tell me wild tales of mosh pit madness!

I was in a geography bee in 4th grade and won second place. One of my best friends at the time beat me.

I was also in a spelling bee in 5th grade and got second place. Didn't win first so I never made it to regionals, but that's okay. I was never that into it.

I'm so tired of the Jonas Brothers. Anything by them. Oh god make it stop. But luckily they seemed to have fallen out of the spotlight the past month or so. I've gotten a break.

Also, Green Day's "Know Your Enemy." I love the CD and love Green Day, but why does the radio have to so severely rape the song by playing it every two seconds? They're killing it for me.

East Jesus Nowhere - Green Day

This is off the new album. It's one of my favorites for sure... all anti-religious and awesome. It mocks fundamentalists who blindly believe what they are told regardless of how absurd it is. It makes me so happy because I sort of hate religion.

I do so much driving every day that I inevitably see way too many idiot drivers. It's such a nightmare. People out there who drive like fucking assholes and cause accidents... I want to push very heavy objects on their pedal feet so that they can't drive anymore.

Congrats on graduation! And have fun with college and the next phase of your life.

I finished this semester last week. Been enjoying summer nonstop since! But I have 2 more years of college to get my BA, and another after that for my credential. And I eventually want to get a doctorate... So I'm far from done. Booo.

I've been stung a few times by bees. Once on the hand, once on the top of my head (stupid thing liked my hair), and once on my upper arm. I'm not allergic to anything so it wasn't a big deal.

Luckily, there's not much of a problem with mosquitos where I live. They're around, but not in a problematic sense. The bug that drives me crazy is the fucking june bug. I think they have a few different names depending on where you live... they're those fucking annoying flying bugs with the hard shell that makes it impossible to kill them. They just fly at me and hang on my clothes and are so obnoxious sddfjglksdjfkgj
