Between work and school and all the other crap that must be done, I don't have a whole lot of lazy time. But when I do... man am I lazy.

On a rare day like today with no work or school, I'll probably sit on the couch watching TV, surfing the web, and/or reading all day. Although I really should unpack and go grocery shopping...

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed in October. I was terrified going in... but once it was over, it wasn't too bad. The pain was just a dull ache, nothing a little pill couldn't handle. The worst part was the salt water rinse... eeewww.

I actually kinda like salt water

Oh god, really? It hits my gag reflex, ugh. My dentist told me to rinse after everything I ate and/or drank, and every morning and night again. I just couldn't handle it!

Ok so it wasn't strep throat after all. When the antibiotics I was given seemed to be doing nothing two days later, I went back to the doctor. By that point I felt a hundred times worse, could barely breathe, and was coughing every five seconds. Turns out it was a different bacterial infection in my throat that was too strong for just amoxicillin and therefore spread to my lungs. The doc said it was very aggressive and that I had to stop it soon, so I had to get a shot in my butt (ow

) and start on two new antibiotics. Finally, four days later, I'm starting to feel better.

What a lame week.

I feel like I'm one of the few people left on the planet that's never had an energy drink. I guess I just never feel so tired that I need to resort to that. Coffee in the morning and a soda here and there gets the job done for me.

Oh yeah, I love records. I have a player and I collect records whenever I pass by a record store or go to LA (Amoeba music!). I have about 20 right now. They sound so warm and full and fresh...

Pretty standard American English of the southern California variety. Pretty much exactly how most tv shows and movie characters sound, since most are filmed here with actors that live here. I saw a video in a linguistics class about how the majority of America isn't represented in TV and cinema because of this. Pretty interesting.
